BOND = 1 billion + 1 month @ 10 percent

Plan Summary

I plan to raise 1 billion ISK by creating a BOND with 100 shares at 10 million ISK each. I will use this capital to fund my market trading of buy low and sell high method. I have found some interesting products on the market that i feel can make and easy 15-20 percent profit. I want to start this as soon as possible and i will be making interest payments at the end of the month and return the inital investment as well.

My Background

I am a high school economics teacher during the day, and now want to be a day trader in Eve too. Some of the students in class were talking about how the Eve economy is very realistic as in the real world and I am here to see if I can come to the same conclusion.

My Goal

I want to see how much ISK I can make from nothing by then end of the school year on my free time between classes and on my free period during the day.

I'm not currently in a position to invest in anything, regardless of quality, so feel free to consider these legitimate questions, trolling, or wasting pixels to your heart's content.

Who are you?
"Ima Serious" is three hours old but you are plainly not a brand new char, knowing as you do about EBank assets and the MD market.

Who are you part deux.
Ima Serious will not be your trade char, or if it is I'd advise spending the next few days learning some of the ingame trade skills. Three hours is not enough time to get even the most basic of trade skills which, whilst not strictly necessary, will benefit your endeavours far better than an immediate cash injection.

Once who are you is answered the following questions will arise...

Collateral?
Unsecured lending might prove too risky.

Skill verification?
Eg. eveboard.com or similar to prove you have skills you claim.

API verification?
Eg. to allow potential investors to see you have some basic experience in trading under your belt already.

"the local high school" in Tucson would be Tucson High Magnet School?

don't see them offering any econ courses at all - just some accounting and business administration

maybe you are talking about one of the other highs schools in Tucson (and there seem to be quite a few of them) and maybe that high school doesn't have a staff page on its website but still ...

You are correct i am am new to EVE and i have an interest in marketing/economics. The reason i know about EBank and MD forums is cause "I can read" and i those two thread i repled to happend to be the first to treads i read (including the ridiculous amount of pages in the older forums link that was included in the threads).

Yes this will be my trade character and i have recently bought 4 trade skills that were most important in the "noob guilde" i found online by searching google.

If i had collateral or ISK to burn then I would not have posted here to ask for ISK from investors. So the answer is no i dont' have any :(

I bought the Trade / Retail / accounting / broker relations skills and am currently training them as the "noob guilde" suggusts. I have also checked out that eveboard.com website you suggusted and i think that sounds pretty cool so i can do that no problems.

I don't have any history in this game but i have life knowledge "so i think" that i feel will be just fine to work in this game.

Hello , i am a graduating student from Harvard University and i am doing a study about trust in online games for my degree . I bought 10 plexes and sold them for isk , so my budget is 3.7 b isk .

Send me any ammount of isk over 5m and i will double it , if you send over 100m isk i will triple it !

I want to see how much ISK I can make from nothing (and to make a serious study about trust in online games) .

i have been looking for an investment to put my hard earned incursion isk into with a goal of intrest paying for my plex in the longrun...

i have never invested before so lets see if i got this right

i give you a bil and in 1 month you give me 1.1 bil back

this sounds good but i got 1 problem - a new toon in a NPC corp, if you dont pay up i got to spend more isk on throw away ships harassing you by way of ganking

tell you what, if you can get one of your students to loan you a BPO or somthing in way of assets to secure then i will back you

how does that sound?

this new toon will never undock , so you can`t even harrass him if he doesn`t pay up :)))))))

That sounds like a good plan... I will take 1 billion please (if you still have some left from your 3.7 billion).. and at the end of the month i will repay you it plus the interest i make!

Ahh, that make more sense now. Well I started with 350 million isk cause the box i got from the game store came with a free game time care thingie and i sold it to get some isk. but after looking as skills to buy and doing some math on buying and selling items that seems it is peanuts and not really practical for investing. Taking a loan was the next step... but as i was looking for a bank to take a loan from (E-Bank), but i realized that there was no such thing so i would have to get a loan from private investors from this forums instead.

Though i woudl love to force my student to give me stuff... as an adult and rolemodel i can not... not to mention I am not too be doing this on school time anyways... it is best they don't know.

Sorry, this forums only lets me quote 5 people at once. But I was really planing on 30 days to replay the loan plus interest so since this is the middle of the month mabye we can work out a special deal so i can try and make some profit too. Convo me ingame and we can discuss this further.

  • How do you expect to make profit?
  • How do you expect to haul those items you are trading (only in station trading or between regions?)?
  • Whats your estimated profit per day?
  • How many hours per day do you play?
  • Dont you think that getting some experience first is required to be a successful trader in EVE? This is EVE not real life!
  • Name all popular types scams you know of (which are happening frequently in EVE that is).

That'd be the activation code which includes 30days of free game time, can only be used to activate an account and is unverifiable before application then?
