Yes it's a troll. But I thought it would be interesting if I actually would get support for standing for CSM with the sole policy of 'Abolish the CSM'. So imagine I did not say that first sentence, and read on:




Vote For Muul Udonii for the CSM and I promise to do my best to save CCP money by not attending events paid for by CCP; I will encourage all other CSM members to do the same. In these times of austerity we all have to come together and tighten our belts.

Furthermore I will make all efforts to persuade CCP to abolish the CSM program; and instead utilise the existing resource of The Forum to gauge the player's mood and to obtain ideas for further development. This will represent a move to true democracy; with CCP actually asking the players for their opinions, and then delivering what is requested.

Having a CSM standing between CCP and their customers, elected by a minority of the playerbase is fundamentally unfair to those not in goonswarm, who do not have reporesentation. It also leads CCP to trust the CSM's opinions, over those of the other 99.999% of their customers; and when the CSM represent only a very small demographic (leaders of huge 0.0 alliances) this is likely to be out of sync with the majority of players.
