Is there a reliable source of market data where I can find price trends for certain items (ie: Hulks) that date back well over a year?

It depends on your time frame, but the most reliable source for market prices from May 2010 through April 2011
would be the data provided by the dev-blog Power to the people ......

Stillman compiled a nice dump there ... probably a foundation for the "EVE LIVE" ticker on the main page.
BTW: If you are reading this Stillman: don't make me grep your page every few minutes for this kind of info! Big smile
