I want to dive an alt right into curse region and start missioning for serpentis corp. Would this be a good idea for a new alt or not? to what extent would i expect station camping to be?

I run missions in Curse. It's an active PvP region. It's quite active, like round the clock ... Curse never sleeps. Gates are often camped and station exit chutes are often camped.

If you're fine with that, it's a lot of fun missioning around there.

Depending on agent access Doril is a good starter system for Curse, then you can move deeper as you get more confident.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Any idea of how to run the level 4s?? I dont mind the idea of active roamers trying to scan me down but I'm not sure I'll live long with a slow aligning BS.

Yes, this is also part of my nullsec mission-running setup ... along with approach bookmarks for every gate and station in the area. I guess you'd expect that from someone who specialises in Curse missions and runs a business based on them - details here.

If I'm running nullsec lvl4s I use a pair of tengu. All T2 equipment. No faction / deadspace stuff - You don't need it, you will probably lose it at some time, and basic tengu prices are sky-rocketing anyways without even adding expensive gear. One tengu is setup as a 5HML variant with covops and nullifier equipment and acts as the forward scout when the mission is in a different system to the agent. The other is a basic 6HML variant with no special gear.

The missions themselves are pretty normal, except for the DED/CONCORD lvl4 Blockade. Unlike the hisec Blockade 4s you do need to take care with trigger management here (it's the same ship for every wave). If you don't you will probably find the incoming DPS too much for whatever (subcap) you're flying.
