Interested in those that set up ORE buy back programs for thier corp in nullsec.

Is it better to set up a program that uses jita Prices for the Ore and then cuts down maby 5-10% depending on the corp and thier want to make isk. Or is it better for the program to factor in the prices of the minerals that the ore the member is selling breaks down to and factor a price a little under jita using the minerals as the price point instead of the ore. I know the ABC market in highsec is a bit ****** due to its scarcity up there.

We base prices on the mineral value at jita - 10%. so miners get equal treatment as ratters.

Hey zeta, the way we ended up doing it was using mineral prices.

I'm not in charge of ours but the way I understand it is that it is a 3 step process:
1. Ore gets logged, compressed and mock refined (using a spreadsheet or a refining calculator to get the actual minerals instead of the amount of ore).
2. Said minerals gets moved to empire and sold, at this point you know how much the minerals were worth.
3. Pay back the miners based on their mineral count, hence their share of the sell (possibly minus a share for the corp as a tax)

This allows for the corp to keep liquid and while it does require the miners to trust the corp it doesn't require the corp to have the isk to pay for all the ore mined to process it...

We are using fair system for everyone who is mining, so people who gets online after DT when gravimetrics respawn and get high ends wont mine more than people who can play only during nights.

I have set prices for every ore, based on the mineral prices from Jita - corp cut.

Miners contract me all the ore, iam keeping detailed database of what each miner mined. After some time, lets say week, i calculated all the ore they give me, i have the price and m3 of the ore .... from this, i get the ISK/m3 ratio ... and after that, i pay every miner his share of ISK acording to how much m3 he mines. Works perfectly for our corp and it encourage people to mine crap ore from large gravimetric so it respawn faster.
