Good BS Stats?

Hi
I want to fly a Battleship soon and I wonder what are good stats for a average T1 Battleship. I tryed something in EFT and the best I got was about 80,000 EHP and 900 DPS firepower. Is that good or bad? What do average and highend BS have?
Many fittings I find in the Internet dont have numbers so I ask here.

Which Battleship are you speaking of?

80000 EHP is kind of low, it is about where a Drake or Armor BC sits. Most Buffer Battleships have 110k to 150k EHP while 80k EHP is what you would expect from an active Battleship.

900 DPS is normal. It varies ship to ship and weapon to weapon usually in the 700-1200 DPS range depending on the tank and weapon range.

Can you post your EFT fit. /Copy to clipboard function in the drop down next to the Ship name will let post it.

The EHP should go over a 100k in most cases, the 150k mentioned above is surely possible but not with every battleship (unless you want to spend billions then almost anything becomes possible)

900DPS is pretty good, only Blaster boats really go over a 1000. Here the not spending a fortune applies again.

But for us to be able to offer much better and more detailed advice it be nice to know which race you fly and which ship you are aiming for.

900 DPS is normal - for topped out pilots. Don't get upset if you pull around 400-500 DPS at 3-4s and meta guns. That is perfectly normal for a non-topped pilot.

The big question for your sake is rather when you choose to start using your BS in relationship to your skill training and your mods available.

Exactly what situation are you planning on putting your battleship in? PvE? PvP? Missions? Plexes? Bait?

DPS and EHP numbers will fluctuate depending on what task you fit your ship for. More info (such as the actual fit and task it is intended on doing) is needed.

How did you Veterans start?

like said above you are going to have to give more details. Good stats is a real subjective thing.

Good example of a BS that can have "crap" stats yet be very effective is Scorpion. More wild fits tank by jams....little or no armour tank, no shield tank since its all the jam mods in mids. Pilot hopes the random numb generator is nice to them and its 1 shot 1 jam per jammer (or hopes thier friends kill off stuff really quickly).
