Recently, I saw some guy try to use E-War and Smartbombs on an Asteroid. Don't even ask me how that set off CONCORD, but they were pissed.

I had just gotten one of my best friends into EVE. Being nubs, we skyped while doing L2 missions. I was in a Harbinger, he was in his brand new, shiny Ferox. Because of his relative lack of skills, I had set my drones to guard him. The intent was to shoot at anything that was shooting at him. However, Everything was shooting at me, so my drones were just orbiting him.

We were just chatting, when I hear him say, "What does a smartbomb do?" I began to explain it a bit. I was listing the pros and cons, and then said "But it's dangerous to use in high...oh ****."

He had fit a smartbomb. My drones were orbiting him. We were both in an NPC corp. He turned flashy to me. 5 seconds later, his brand new Ferox was space dust, and I was laughing my ass off.

He was so disappointed for a few minutes, until I explained what had happened.

Yesterday, some guy abandoned a Jetcan, so just as I flew over to loot it, some guy in a Noctis started tractoring it away. I still beat him to the container though, so just then I discovered he put a few smartbombs on that thing. He tried to blow me up, so concord busted his ass.

My new favorite: Some guy using Logistics on a criminal during an Incursion, and then getting CONCORDED for it.

What do you think the EVE equivalent to flipping off CONCORD is? I remember once at my old school, a kid flipped off a police officer and got tazed for it.

Best ever:

When we were griefing Incursions, one time Slimy Worm lost aggression to our bait logi and couldn't do anything. He decloaked his Pilgrim anyway and was just playing around while we shot through the guy's shields when suddenly...our victim targets Slimy and pops his Pilgrim in three volleys. Concord finishes the work for us, we laughed heartily at the whole thing, and Slimy spent the rest of the night in a rookie ship.

To this day, we have no idea whether that guy deliberately got concorded in order to kill Slimy, or he was just an idiot.

Way back when my GF first got into eve i had a session with her just generally showing the effects of choice of ammo etc - speed over pure guns, fast close orbits etc etc etc - just basically trying to rush her into fighting status.

Figured itd be a laugh to use an Apoc fully strung in Mega Pulse and have ECM Burst to annoy her that her lock kept failing. Fired the Burst 30km off station - hey they have like 5km range right? no harm in that.

Had to make fast excuses as the Station aggroed...

"Delinquents, check, weirdos, check, hippies, check, pillheads, check, freaks, check, potheads, check .....gangs all here!"

I love Science, it gives me a Hadron.

I was fighting an astarte in my sleipnir once, he was being RRed by 2 guardians and 1 oneiros. It was a stalemate and he even refused to pay 100 mil in ransom. Well I wasn't gonna let him go, so he called more of his buddies. They brought 3 battlecruisers and one of them slowboated 800km because he's too dumb to fit a mwd. 3 bc tried to help the astarte by suicide ganking me and.... CONCORDOKKEN. except that wasn't at the gate and there wasn't an indy. They got CONCORDOKKENED again and didn't even scratch my armor. After being ******* bored me and the guy in astarte simply disengaged.

I was flying around low-sec picking up FW lvl3 missions to kill a bit of time. Saw an itteron slow boating towards a gate. counter to my normal policies not to engage non hostiles I figured what the hell, time to get my yarr on a little bit. targeted him up and let my torps fly... and then I was a pod. I'd forgotten that out of all 30 jumps on my route 2 of them went back into high-sec and of course that was where I'd found the target. ah well, live and learn.
