I've flown a few ISN fleets and it's not been bad at all. Fast isk, etc; however, I do have one gripe about the logi requirements...

If you're gonna require shiny DPS, then expect the same from the logis. There should be a requirement for a minimum of 3 links/rsebos per pilot and get rid of that 6/0 basi fit. It's useless and does nothing to improve fleet dps.

Too bad you guys have no love for the missle/drone pilots.

One RS per group can be a great addition. (( when max skilled ))


RS has a lot room for tp's and webs in incursions while still having a good tank.
Can run as anchor if/as needed.



Rare things it can help with:
Mining.
Repair any dmg that made it to armor both on ships and drones between fights.
Shield drones as back up repair if a logi goes d/c.

Has decent dps so you don't lose much to gain all those benifits.

The cycle time on tp's make them impractical and other ships (bhaal, loki) web much better. There are no VG's which require an anchor when running in a shiny fleet.

6/0 Basi are really only used when there is a scimitar in the fleet and you have no other options, I agree it is pretty much trash :) The sad fact of the matter is that logistics pilots are rare, and shiny logistics pilots are even more rare. If we only accepted logistics with 3 dps-mids, ISN would be quite short on logi :)

Can run as anchor if/as needed. Anchors never needed in vanguards, most of the time everyone just hits the gate whenever they land.



Rare things it can help with:
Mining. ISN fleets NEVER mine during sites... EVER! Weve got orcas and orcas full of core with industrial ships to scout and drop ;)

Shield drones as back up repair if a logi goes d/c. All of our DPS ships carry logi drones for emergencys which rarely happen since we screen our logi.

Has decent dps so you don't lose much to gain all those benifits. There are no benifits so the loss in DPS is all an RS has to offer :)

I'm sorry, it's nothing personal, it's just the way games are played.

P.S. Phantom Dancer Morgana didn't work either :(

Maybe attempt to simultaniously drop logi support for multiple fleets when stuffed sufficiently with bling ships.

Or just some attempt by the ammzi,darius,etc RP-griefer folks to create "third faction" to the incursion game. Afterall the existing community didnt bite on the "Incursion jesus" tale they spun up.

Considering none of the ISN FC's fly as logistics it would be difficult to "drop logi support" and get the shiny loot.

Also considering that they're usually in there with the most expensively fitted ship I'm not sure it would be cost effective for them.


+1 ISN fleets; very clean and consistently winning contests against other fleets (80%+). Conspiracy theories are great though.

Actually, that was mostly Lead Farmers doing the blackbirds with a few Brick Squad and Skunks thrown in. The fake logi was an idea a few of us tossed around back in November but never got around to doing until "Krissada" showed up to FC the mom fleets. He might have been a party to the action, but it wasn't his doing. His goal was always to shake up the community and CCP by closing incursions early. He succeeded, and then bowed out.

After he left we went back to griefing incursions for a bit and then went on our way.

What happened to the original post?

If it was a legit Incursion service, takes a bit more time to get rolling. This thread hasn't been active for very long at all.

However, retiring this thread is understandable if ISN had been found out to be some sort of facade for a gankers smorgasbord.

I'm very confused by all of this.
