Back in my hometown there was a case of a crazy cat lady. She had like 120 cats, not counting the dozens of dead ones laying around. A friend of mine knew one of the guys that were hired to clean up the mess and apparently the cat urine fumes (ammonia) was so powerful they had to wear breathing apparatus. The home was a rental like the one in the video and the owner's had it demolished after the insurance company declared it a write off.

I wouldn't be surprised if this guys does the same thing. Cleaning only goes so far, especially when it comes to situations like this.

BTW, if anyone wants more of this (because you're a sick bastard like me), I recommend watching Hoarders. My brother mentioned it to me so I pulled it up on Netflix and it's simply amazing what people succumb to. Second episode I think had a crazy cat lady as well. She had to give up all but like 7 cats which ended up being something like 70 cats removed that were alive and I think about 25 skeletons.

He's a god of pestilence, yes, but he's sort of jolly about it. Like Santa Claus if he tripped over some beakers in a CDC facility and contracted every disease there is, while retaining his chipper personality.

Eh, that hoard is small-time. I've seen much worse on the show "Hoarders" on A&E (an American television station).

My favorite was an old lady who'd filled up her entire house with useless junk, and was preparing to purchase the house next door so she could fill that one up, too. Now that's what I call dedication.
