i was just wondering what people thought was going on here?

my first guess was the introduction of t3 BCs might have spiked it... but this much? it was went up 20 points in a month...

any idea?

My guess is that alot more ships are blowing up. Hence demand for new ships is higher. I'm sure someone with more knowledge on the matter will chime in. Second probability is that more people are ganking miners which is squeezing supply.

Despite my posting prowess I really am terrible at this game

Not convinced Tier3 BC has much to do with it. Its a supply problem. Any T1 productions have streamed mineral requi, there is no 'needs more Mex' item or ship.

If its a supply thing, I am going to guess and say it has to do with a chart saying all the Mex Ore doesn't have the ISK/ hr value to mine.

That's TIER 3. T3 is something else entirely. Roll

The tier3 BCs are a lot heavier on Mex then their counterparts. Plus people started blowing stuff up again.

Mex has actually fallen slowly in the past week or two, it was 52+ ISK/u, but you can get it now for 46-49 ISK/u or less.

How about the loss of mineral supplies from the droneland civil war?

It has been my impression that most of that is high-end stuff, which is sold and the isk spent on lower end mins. Could be wrong though. I do know that tier 3s use a lot of mex.

Yup. 53 in Ammatar High, but 46 and lower in Low Sec out here...shortly to change. Twisted

Buy orders, buying up stuff to reprocess for minerals, buying up cheap raw ore, looking for deals in the quieter regions. The same way that you get almost any cheap raw material.
