Why wait 24 Hours to quit a Corp ?

Why wait 24 hours to quit a Corp ? If you apply and try a Corp out and don't like it your stuck in it for 24 hours why wait ? Why not make it instant quit with a Quitting fee attached?

You only have 24 hour corp quit if you have roles which most don't get after joining a new corp
