Suicide ganking in a stealth bomber?

so i can fly a stealth bomber have my bomb/torp skills all at 4 or 5. would it be any good for suicide ganking? any 1 tried it?
if any eft warriors wanted to post some figures would also be nice

I'm not gonna make graphs or anything - not that crazy, but EFT can't run all numbers for missiles well, so I have to do some of that by hand. Gimme a few minutes.

Its only viable if your target has a giant sig radius.

Even a purifier with all BCS II in the lows and TP II in the mids, with T2 launchers, faction EM torps, and damage rigs, will need 2-4 volleys (that's as much work as I am gonna do on the missiles) against a hulk with no tank in the mids and cargo expanders in the lows.

With the low cycle time of siege launchers, you will not be able to solo gank in bombers, if that's what you are trying to do. TBH, thrashers and catalysts still gank better for far cheaper considering you only need 4-5 of them against a crappy (but still) tanked hulk.

Unfortunately, no. While bombers have a fantastic alpha on paper, torpedoes usually lose a lot of that raw damage due to sigrad and velocity reduction, even with a target painter or web applied. Bombs can make up for that. But suicide ganking implies high sec, and you can't use bombs outside of nul.

Even with nearly max skills, your cycle time will be just less than 10 seconds. So you might get a couple salvoes off in .5 space, which is enough to pop a poorly tanked retriever or noctis under ideal conditions. Put a medium shield exctender on your purifier and you might stay alive long enough for a third shot. But certainly no longer.

You're better off with a Tier 3 BC or Brutix.

there is also the issue of this only being viable in belts. On gates you would die as soon as your first missile lands due to gate guns.

I had a bomber swarm appear in my mission to kill my mission alt's CNR... took me to 75% shields and made my ******** pulsate like no tomorrow. It took quite a few of them to get just that far!

It was great for me though, I got insanely lucky with drops and made 175m off the drops and T2 salvage :D
