The entry called "And much more!" .. does that include round-tables where the participants are blue-balled by CCP?

Was a huge success last year so would be a shame not to repeat it .. forums still have open threads about it where silly stuff like chess boxing went away immediately after!

A shame (for me) that it's not closer to Airwaves, as I can't quite justify two trips to the country in a year and will definitely be going to Airwaves next year after missing tickets for this one (been three years before). If you've not been to Iceland it's a beautiful place and the people are great. Bring much ISK for drinks!

Also it turns out that Toyota RAV4s are not well suited to driving around volcanoes. Just in case anyone was tempted to try it. Speaking from experience here...

Harpa is near the harbour - you can actually see it from the CCP office I think. The last few years it was still under construction but I guess it's finished now :D

Ugh, here we go with a stream of Fanfest advertising BS that the vast majority of fans can't afford/are interested in... you started early this year, CCP. Again.

The Gaming MoD - retro to modern, console to MMO, I blog about it if it's a game and I'm interested in it. Yes, I play games other than Eve and I don't care if you think I'm wrong.

Yeah it's on the harbour.. but you cross the street and are in the city centre :) Normally the pub crawl was a bus ride away.. now it's 5 minutes walk

The lack of devs at the FW round table was a simple case of a dev no show. Sometimes these things can happen where personal or work related things can result in a person not being able to attend.

For Fanfest 2012 I will personally try my best to organize a new FW round table and have a dev attend.

Actually, since I started improving on Fanfest it has gradually stopped being a "pulsu party" like we call it in Iceland. More and more EVE players are also women and attend Fanfest. Plus many a player brings his spouse to Iceland with him.

Here is a local article about Fanfest 2011 with the headline: So, now we know where all the beautiful girls where last weekend.
