A billion controversial questions and no answers. This kind of bullshit might fly in the Democrat/Republican Primaries but it doesn't really sit with Eve players.

Most of us on this side of the pond are trained to respond to exactly the type of rhetoric, or lack thereof, that Riverini espouses because of our first past the goal post election system and the resultant two-party primaries which have resulted from it. Riverini is accustomed to dealing with a group of people for whom "Us versus Them" is the totality of all political discourse, and thereby the comments made by "Them" are marginalized and devalued to the point of not being worth addressing. I think this is perhaps one of his weakest points as a candidate in an International game, not because he is due to miss points presented him but because it demonstrates an inability, in spite of his alleged genius, for mental agility and adaptation to changing circumstances.

Nice post and good luck with CSM7 I'm sure you will do well, but your MT statement is incorrect and this issue was highlighted way before the Jita riots started - during CSM5 in 2010. You may have helped to pass on the message and garner support but the ball had already been rolling for some time with way more supporters already onto this topic far before the riots started. The documents from CCP did help get peeps riled and active into jita though - even if half of them had no clue as to why they were rioting (some I talked to were pissed that there were so many **** options in the Nex store).

I always thought he was being ironic with all of his anti-botting posts because he was a member of one of the biggest botting alliances/coalitions in the history of Eve. Honestly all of his wailing about botting sounds like pandering to me.

But you're lacking in terms of non-biased reporting. Many of the other writers on the site have repeatedly given battle reports and updates of their own alliances being curb stomped or come under fire by internal or external drama and leaks. Whereas we've seen little to nothing of the alliances you've claimed loyalty to in any sort of negative light, less it be by another reporter.

Sorry but I can't vote for someone whose done little to nothing for the game itself. True you created EN24, but at the cost of setting yourself up for an eternal lashing post. Mittens has his issues, but at this current time I strongly believe the fact that he's a complete *** has caused EvE to be what it is now. Six months ago players cringed and hesitated to log in. Crucible brought the end to that. EvE is a fun game. A terrible game. But fun all the same.
