Do you guys have training sessions for Pacific Time Zone (-8 GMT)? I'm potentially interested, but your OP indicates training sessions start around 18:00 server (0 GMT I think?) and its not gonna work out with my current job.

Still, you guys seem like a good fit for a newbie wanting to step into the 0.0 arena Lol

I too am Pacific Time zone -8 GMT.

I know EVE time can be confusing at times, But 18:00 -8 =10:00 or 10am.

I am an Instructor in OUCH and I have Taught on Weekends at 19:00 eve time which is currently 11am PST in the Winter and during Daylight savings is 12:00pm or noon PST.

But if that still isn't an acceptable time we Offer Wednesday and Thursday classes at 01:00 EVE Time which for you is currently 6pm PST in the winter and 7pm PST during Daylight savings Time.

Now if this still isn't acceptable times we have a forum thread to post for One Offs for special needs because some one has RL issues that prevent them from attending regular scheduled classes.

Now if all the above still doesn't work for your time zone which is also my time zone then have a nice day and fly safe.

There once was a pilot from Gammel,
Who was terrified nullsec would be trouble.
Then joining OUCH he met Bren,
Who in 0.0 taught him to WIN.
And now he no longer fears the bubble!

Join us and let OUCH teach YOU to fear no bubble.

Are you affraid of the bubbles, blinking red ones, or gang roams ?

If you join ouch, you'll get a smile on your face whenever you see a bubble.
Instead of running away from blinking red ones, you check and hope they have a bounty, and check how much their pod was worth once they explode.
And for the gang roams, instead of running away, you'll say: "finaly something exciting" :)

No isk, no skills, no fun?

To join OUCH you don't need any of those.

You won't earn much isk in ouch, skills won't magically hop for 50mil skill points either, but we will give you lots of fun, while trainining you to survive in nullsec.
You'll learn all the technical info you need to know, do lots of practical training exercises in high sec, move to nullsec and learn how to survive and fight in one of the most harsh regions in eve. All while supervised and advised by experienced trainers.

I would like to know if OUCH is still recruiting and what are the requirements to join?

Thing is, I preferred mining over PVP, until some bastard blew up my ship. So now it's time for bloody vengeance.

However, before I get to hunt down the guy and nail a piece of his hull to my hangar's wall I need to get my PVP skills up.

OUCH is always recruiting. We welcome noobs with bare minimum SP, and we welcome carebears with 50 million SP. We are an OPEN university. We take anyone who wants to follow our program and learn to survive in Nullsec.

Other than a willingness to follow our new student rules, we have no entry requirements. Most applications are accepted within 24 hours and the complete training cycle can be completed in as little as two weeks (may be longer if your play schedule is limited).

We are NOT Eve University -- They teach people how to play Eve.
We are NOT Agony Unleashed -- They are a PvP corp that runs occasional PvP classes.

We ARE a Nullsec survival and PvP training corp. We teach players to play in 0.0.

It's what we do. Join us.

Either way that's fine with me. I think I should get down the very basics of surviving in 0.0 space first. And who's to say that the things I learn won't help me in a PVP fight?

Of course if OUCH doesn't teach me what I want I can always find a PVP specialized uni.

However, I'll be happy to sign up for OUCH's training course.
After all basic survival first, fancy flying tricks later.

"You are about to become what all men should fear," says the EVE trailer.

Inspiring. Now, how are you going to go about this becoming?

There's the school of hardknocks. Take 50 hulls and have at it. Learn by doing.

Really?

Is that the approach you'd take to develop your chess, golf or poker game? If so, hope to see you at my table.

Join OUCH. Pay attention and what it will cost you is the avoidance of bad habits that will take more than 50 hulls to break.

You know the saying: Don't fly anything you can't afford to lose. I would say, in null, it's a better idea not to fly anything you can't afford to replace a half dozen times.

A lot of people spend a lot of time building up a war chest so they can afford all of the shiny ships that they know they are going to lose when they start venturing into low sec and null.

OUCH students fly T1 frigates while they learn the ropes. As the Brit's say, they're cheap as chips.

You don't have to be rich to learn how to survive in null and get a little pvp fun in. Smile
