Easier Alliance/coalition management is always welcome. Not sure how the the "charter" thing is supposed to work, but it is an interesting idea.

About gate/station guns in 0.0.. hm well. It would make sense to make the feel more "realistic", but it would also complicate 0.0 management and i'd die a lot more while afk'ing at gates than i already do and it could seriously influence some well established daily small/medium gang combat strategies in eve.

anyhow, +1 for sollana

I am fully convinced that no NBSI alliance would see it as a problem. On the contrary, they would be more than pleased to have unmanned devices to keep the rabble out and entrench their own position further. Anyway, your proposal is neither new or original, why do you think it has merit now when it has been rejected by CCP consistently over the last nine years?

I have a sudden urge to purge providence.

Seriously, why would you bring a source of annoyance from lowsec and impose it on nullsec? Most of us live out here because we don't want stupid game mechanics spoiling the fun.

could you elaborate on why anyone would want to play eve under this model

We belong to a coalition of CVA, which sollana here helps run.

Station guns are a requirement when we own most of providence and are the only coalition to be NRDS, not red dont shoot. So, with unknown neutrals coming into the territory, we need a way for the stations to defend theirselves against neutrals who prefer to be red. A station outpost costs so much for the upgrades that are easily taken out before they ever online themselves.

Also, people are defenseless undocking; I frag warp, kill overspeed upon undock, and warp away within 10 seconds BUT this is not always possible, epecially when stations can be bubbled.

A better way to implement this is for the guns to be able to be chosen; allow us anchor normal pos DEFENSE batteries, only ones that are actual guns (no warp scramblers or etc), to be anchored around an outpost and put a max ammount by power usage.

Yes, Im adding to sollana's suggestion; please give us the guns but allow us to anchor our own :) pls do not allow ECM or scramblers around stations; that will really unbalance the game.

Allow the guns to be taken out but have them have 3x hp when anchored on the station; you could have the station give them 99% resists or something.

Other points I would like to add to my manifesto.

AFK cloaking. A valid tactic or just bullying and harrassment.

I see no reason to change the reason people do this, but for 23.45 the players just sit and do nothing. probably asleep at the console.

I propose that cloaking devices require fuel to operate, for example ozone. a small amount based on ship mass required to power the device. this would make them have a vulnerability that they currently do not have.

People I have spoken too, say there should be a sov upgrade to jam cloaking devices much like a cyno jammer, thisis also a possibility.

Also there should be a method to hunt cloaky ships, we all watched war movies of destroyers hunting submarines, is this not the same. Give destroyers (space charges) that launches micro mines which travel out to a maximum distance based on skills and meta value of module. These micro mines then either explode if the contact any ship or reach maximum range. They do no actual damage but like the warp scrambler they disable the cloaking device for a complete cycle.

I agree on this however a cloaking jammer might seem a bit over the head. However a POS or Sov module that can be fired e.g like every 6th hour that decloakes the systems for 5minutes and requires LO or HW to operate might be an idea?

I think what you stand for is really dumb, but I'm glad you stand for it. Have a spacelike.

Also, CCP needs to not autocorrect spacelike into space like. Space like is a valuable commodity recently introduced into New Eden, carefully guarded by its denizens. Legends speak that the first person to collect 10000 spacelikes will find a valuable prize - A unique module? A bit of precious cargo? A ship decal? A glimpse at the other side of the EVE gate? Or maybe just a bit of decoration for their captain's quarters and cockpit.
