The stars twinkle excessivly (along with station lights) to such an extent I can't play due to it causing a migraine - I've been playing EvE scince 05 & never had this problem until recently. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGsL7ogzqx4 Here is a youtube vid to show what I'm talking about.

Further findings indicate it's related to zoom level - as it also applys to station lights. If I zoom in to the maximum level on a station or a section of the star-scape (hold right , turn towards space then zoom in) the flickering stops.

REDBIERD Space Gear Productions Likes received: 9	#4 - 2012-02-16 22:16:35 UTC I suffered from this too. It was so bad as to be comparable to TV static. What fixed my problem was unchecking "Force MipMap Filter" under the Standard Tweaks menu in ATI Tray Tools. I also made sure my LOD slider was set to 0 as well. I'd forgotten I'd tweaked my ATI\AMD card settings with ATI Tray Tools while playing with Skyrim.
