Might help to know what faction/races you can fly, what weapons skills, etc.

yep, and what race of npcs you are getting for the majority of the missions handed you by your agent(s). There is no one ship that is universally best for level 4 missions. Some are more adaptable than others Phoon, Domi, Raven but that does not mean they are the best in all circumstances.

Also, even if you narrow your choice down to one ship to go against the typical npc rats you get, it will have to be fit differently for the parameters of each mission. For instance if you have long travel between gates you will want a prop mod, etc.

So, OP, you need to give your readers some more information about your skills and the rats you are facing.

Do you have a preferred weapon? Do you prefer to armor or shield tank? C'mon, man, if you want help, you have to give us something to work with.

You should also let us know what faction you run missions for considering that some weapon systems can't change damage type.

Due to the lack of information, I'd say go for a maelstrom. Changable damage types and resists.

Guys. Give this gentleman fitting advice at your own peril. Last time he used a recommended fit he raged at the person, demanded an ISK refund on his ship that DIDNT WORK and then made a rage video about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjVTyqjrOmM&feature=g-like&context=G2819753ALTzXIQwAAAA

OP, just use your flagship Machariel... http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/58911-Machariel-corp-flag-ship.html

"this ship is not really used unless it is to go to in space meeting and or just to hang out in jita or other busy systems as a symbol of my corp"

Use this as a base (this is set-up for fighting Blood Raiders; swap hardeners as needed.) You could also substitute Large Core Defence Field Extenders to give you more shield XP, if that's what you want to do.

P.S.: Obviously, EFT is still using the original ammo names.

I recomend a cap stable fit as he probably does not understand how burst tanking works.

Just tested that fit. Confiriming it works for at least 300 missions. But it might fail on mission 301 so be careful.
