or....

here is a thought I remember a sort of demostration of the Avatar technology for a fashion cloths maker... imaging that sort of thing appearing in The Guid. Just a thought Mr CCP marketing person.

if she made a character, doesn't that mean she can read the forums...

If she can read the forums doesn't that mean politeness should be taken?

In which case. Hello Felicia day, welcome to eve. If you need any help there are plenty of players who would be glad to assist getting the hang of eve, since it can be a little daunting at first. I dont know anyone who wasn't confused at first.

Cheers

im sure she wouldnt be the first "celeb" in Eve, but like any others that are here im 100% positive she would NEVER divulge the identity of her character in eve. The fun thing to think about is that guy you cursing and swearing at in corp chat could be your favorite actor lol.

Not to mention the target she would paint on her head.

Imagine getting cursed at by Samuel L Jackson while he destroys your ship.

Large volumes of highly researched Ammo, drones, charges and ship bpo's. Biggest BPO store in EVE! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=445524#post445524

Fawning over an e-celeb is a step down from ditto over a reality show "star" .. just sayin'

We are Eve dammit! Courtesy and politeness is ONLY applied when ones implanted pod is held at gunpoint!

I guess that it is funny in a sense that one of the most eye-catching features of EVE turns to be completely useless to the game... most MMORPG got mediocrey avatars but plenty of avatar gameplay, whereas EVE has got gorgeous cutting edge avatars and no avatar gameplay at all. I mean, beyond rating it at the "rate the avatar above" thread, there is not much you can really do with your avatar... Straight

Told ja, WiS is the next big thing in Eve, espacially if you blend it with games like The Sims. Great potential guys! More girls in Eve please :)

I suppose if we're going to have women in this game we might as well have a virtual kitchen to send them to.

Boggles the mind why anyone would follow Felicia Day on twitter, especially the OP.

That also came to my mind first when I read the OP's post.

Since that I'm really trying to sort what's more shocking. Either him following that lady on twitter or her writing that EVE's character creator was "amazeballs"...

*lol*

"Facial Day, go back 2 wow."

Anyway, i like the fact that it's probably maybe eventually good for EvE,
because she spreads the word and whatever she may spread,
but she'll only bring wowfags in anyway ...................

I think the problem with people coming to EVE for the character creator is summed up in a YouTube comment: It's a giant char generator with a space minigame included...

They will have tons of fun with the character creator, but will leave shortly after that. I hope I'm wrong, because the mo' playas, the mo' betta. But I wouldn't bet on it.

Cut out the inactive ones, the ones not who aren't currently reading their Twitter, the ones who follow so many they will miss this tweet and so on, and you're left with 7 stalkers and a journalist. P
