CCP unfair to Miners

PVP pilots can look at the map to find pvp activity -- ships / pods killed in the past hour / 24

PVE pilots can look at the map to find pve activity - npcs killed in teh past hour / 24

But the poor miners can't view ORE / ICE mined the past hour / 24

it's so totally unfair, and preferential. CCP must correct this grievous injustice immediately and offer the same benefits to miners!!

update the map features!

Supported. We combat pilots need to know where agglomerations of miners asteroids are so we can go gank protect them.

Supported, miners may want to congregate for mutual support (ganking).

How many asteroids had to be ruthlessly slaughtered to make your shiny new ships?

Won't anyone think of the asteroids!

It would actually helpful if it wasn't just ice that you could look for, why not have a filter for all of them? Look at how much pyroxeres or something has been mined per system and then you can find a nice quiet bit to mine at?

I think this is a good idea actually.

I agree. Protect the miners!! Intelligence is key!!

Actually, that's not all together bad idea. I'm not sure its needed for low end ores however.

It may not be needed, but it would be bloody nice and there are all these people claiming we need to fix mining.

Think of ot this way, it is easy for Concord to track capsuleer ships (general location, combat and clone reactivations) to an extent, not so easy to track each and every space rock and whether or not it has has a laser pointed at it.

Also this is not F&I, go and whine there.

I was taking my Hulk out for a gentle orbit round the sun, when BAM, this group of rocks jumped me from behind...

They started it, I only shot in self defence....

As for telling the world where all the rocks are being mined, we might as well paint our ships pink and yell "Shoot Me" in local...

EVE isn't unfair to miners ,
Only problem is that CCP has been focussing alot of their development on other things instead of mining and industry that depends on those miners

Pretty sure they have some ideas floating around to make mining and industry just as important , player active and respected as pvp
this probably is the next big challenge for CCP
so this is permanence

The former would require ship customisation and I already do the latter.

I wholeheartedly support what you just said.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.
