Unelegant crash to desktop

I was running two clients at once. The client in the background (just sitting in station for awhile) crashed to desktop with a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error. Forums actually ate my post after I closed the dialogue box, but it was an error in ExeFile.exe to the tune of:
"R6025
- pure virtual function call"

I have the urge to accuse CCP of doing naughty things with pointers, despite the fact that EVE is supposedly written in stackless python.
