Could i create another character using the same account and train skills that i have already learned on my main one? For example, I would like to create a trading alt but if i already learned some skills on my main account (broker etc).

Sure, but you can't train both characters at the same time.

Edit: And you will have to repurchase any skillbooks for your new character.

They are entirely separate characters with their own skills, standings and ships. So if you create a trading alt (which is a good plan) you'll have to train from scratch, it doesn't take very long to get some decent trading skills and rudimentary hauling options though.

Excuses are the refuge of the weak.

Really? That's crappy...how do you tell it which character to make active as far as training goes?

Simply pause the training queue on the character who is currently training, log-in to the character you want to train and "Apply" a new queue to them.

Only one character on the account can have an active training queue. The single character with skills in their training queue is the one who is training.

most people have 2 alt characters that only do specific tasks, such as PI or light cynos, if you want to train 2 characters at a time u must pay for a 2nd account

Training up two trading Alts is not that time intensive.

For half-decent station trading, I would say a week of training should suffice; add another week to train the remote trading skills up.

If you want to spend the extra money you can always create an second account and train a character up then transfer it to your "main account." It's more expensive but you will not lose the training time on your main character.

Although, you really won't miss out on a week or a few days here and there by just training up two characters on one account. Just remember to have fun and don't get burned out on crazy skill plans.
