cherry picking, thoughts?

When I used to mine, I'd have a set of warp-in bookmarks, one for each belt about 200-300km away so you could always warp out and back in again for better roids in range. To be honest, I used to do it the lazy way, forget crystals etc, just chuck in a set of strip miner I's and mine everything in range. In a corp I used to be in, we'd regularly mine out the system of ore every friday night, and move to the next system to start on that.
I can see the justification of cherry picking ores, maximise your profit per hour etc, but then you get people complaining about poor re-spawns since I don't know if CCP have ever published the way belts are re-spawned, what formula they use etc, although it's that long since I've mined anything they might have and I completely missed it :)

I generally prefer ice mining, it doesn't pay as much, but it's a hellofalot easier, park mack, target lump and blast away until terminal boredom sets in Roll

We all have seen it or have done it our selves, Who cherry picks a belt for the highest profiting ores?

Have you ever done anything against people who cherry pick?

Why bother with anything else when maximizing Isk/hour ratio..........

I usually just strip belts. But I build stuff with what I mine and that give me about a 50% boost in ISK per hour of mining over just selling minerals.

When I am planning on selling the minerals I go for the good stuff. But not to the extent of getting just the +10% ore. I will take say all the pyrox, or any other ore near the top of the list. Less warping about that way.

One thing I find odd: Why has Isogen been so stable in price while the other minerals have been creeping up? This has resulted in Omber being of very low value.

He comes over, we mine and have some drinks/shoot the shart for a few hours. Any other time, I don't bother as it is a bit too boring for my liking.

Shock horror, someone breaching the EULA Shocked

If I log one of my wifes accounts in to change skill if she forgot, I'm in breach of the EULA, many large corps have cyno accounts that are shared.

It's a stupid rule, and as long as you understand that should your 'mate' steal everything you've got and CCP won't give a monkeys, then meh leave them to it.
