What ship hulls would you like to see get a makeover next?

All the Minmatar ships except the Shuttle, Probe/Cheetah (but lose those daft sails), Typhoon (their only decent-looking BS), BCs and industrials. Chuck all those stupid-looking sails in the recycle bin.

Caldari are fine.

Amarr are ok except that the Harbinger looks like it should have wheels.

Imicus/Helios, Maulus/Keres.

Turn the Myrmidon onto its side, like the Catalyst.

BUT - above all else, ditch that hideous Tristan. Looks like a giant mech warrior. I can't imagine what illicit substances the designers were on when they came up with that.

Edit: Rupture is ok too.

Well yeah, they have to make it look minmatar somehow!

I like most of the Amarr ships, prophecy is very nice. The "new" symmetrical condor I don't like at all, it loses all its flair, normally I do not comment on other races ships, but the condor is quite dear to my hart since I flew in during beta and even produced some of them. So no symmetrical new Condor, booh!.

Edit: I guess the crucifer is the one ship that I would allow a rework off, I did enjoy to fly it in the olden days but it doesn't really look the part and perhaps the harbringer.

Personally I'd ver much prefer it if modules fitted on a ship would be distinguishable and thus changing its shape somewhat like pods and aerials on fighter/bomber planes in present day.

I vote for the Harbinger. Great ship, very versatile, but is not in keeping with the rest of the Amarian fleet.

Then I'd like to see an update to the Typhoon, it looks like a rusty brick, closley followed by the Apocalypse / Paladin. For me, the underside looks like a construction site.

my list of ships needing complete make overs.

1. Typhoon/panther - this needs a totally new model + textures
2. all 4 noobships need a new model + textures it might entice more noobs to stay with the game.
3. caracal/cerberus - its just looks plain silly and needs a new model + textures
4. all 5 versions of the iteron - they just look like dildos - completely new model + textures
5. catalyst/eris - it looks like an old wwII bomber missing a wing and its tail - new model + textures
6. imicus/helios - what the hell was that modeller thinking? - new model + textures
7. moa/eagle/onyx - needs a new model + textures
8. Aeon - it look half finished - fix the model
9. osprey/bassilisk - looks like a turkey - new model + textures needed
10. bantam - another ugly frig

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

your opinion is terribly wrong on all accounts!

Maulus/Keres is one of the coolest frig hulls, it looks menacing with that robotic "eye", very nice design overall.

Even suggesting touching the Holy Verticality is a crime under Federal law and you have just became K.O.S. in Gallente space

I think it has been stated by CCP that the rookie ships will get new models next.

Like Minnie and Amarr ships get the new, improved textures like Gal and Caldari already have.

As a Gallente underwear model, I tend to be pretty shallow about what ships I'll be seen in while cruising the space lanes. Just wanted to provide full disclosure before I list a bunch of hulls I don't fly.

Don't fly Amarr of faction ships larger than frigates, so no comment there. Although, every ship with space camo needs a makeover, IMO.

Typhoon. I like the concept of the look but the textures do not lend to it looking like a giant battleship.

Vagabond/Stabber. Again I like the look of the ship but the turret points and some of the textures don't work correctly.

Moa/Gila/etc. Yeah the boxy look is cool but the "turkey head" just doesn't work.

Carriers. Models need to be bigger. Look too small to be able to carry around battleships.

Kitchen sink? Seriousy, get your ship together -  Fleet-Up.com

The Imicus needs an emergency face lift and the Dominix should be next. Give the domi a tail and a breathing hole that sprays up water whenever it shoots it's rails.

But look at this thread! I say it's time for another art contest, to redo existing ships!

I actually love the look of the ragnarok. It's true that most Minmatar models are plain crap, even the Maelstrom is wing heavy and loses cool points.

Ugliest ship is probably one of the gallente models already mentioned, some fundamental issues there that a retexture will never fix.

Stabber/Vagabond sticks out in my mind by far. Most of the Minmatar ships visually look like they are from a computer game made in 1995 copy pasted into EVE.

Well, basically all minmatar ships with exception of t3 and rifter/slasher hulls looks like crap

Caldari, Moa, Blackbird, Caracal and few others

Gallente mostly imicus - it looks just pathetic

Amarr - Magnate looks nice, every other frigate needs full redesign badly


From pirate ships:
Nightmare needs some kind of redesign/imporvements (make it horizontal?)
Machariel looks cheap, could be improved
