As to why everyone is so 'paranoid' let me explain it to you clearly since you asked.

We fleet and you show up in your VERY shiny ship, since you are so obviously such a pro. It'll have all kinds of shiny faction, DED and/or officer mods on. we go run a mission and you get aggro, your tank goes down a bit and all of a sudden 3 Tornado's warp in and suicide gank your nice and shiny ship. Sure we lose 200mill but that nice 500mill module drops and a few of those juicy faction launchers.

It's all just economics.

Next time I'll just be all friendly and helpful like some of the other posters and reap the loot/tears for myself.

i loot and keep loot, u get what bounty's u can get on and get LP/standings as i hand in the missions

1. Never help a guy in a mission in your main mission ship unless in your corp and already well trusted.

2. Have a ship that can run L4 that is cheap ready if you do help others. Any tier 1 BS should do ok.

3. Have the guy who needs the help do the tanking.

4. Just enjoy having half the bounty / LP and enjoy the fact that you just helped someone, who knows maybe you made a new friend.

5. If you want to be greedy and get top isk per hour at all times then don't help people.

I addressed both faction and Caldari Navy standings.

The reason I mentioned the faction is because individual corp standings are so easy to get, I thought it might have been a typo.

To pay someone to help raise a individual corp standing is fail on so many levels. If you are any good at all at running missions you can get there unassisted in a couple days. Patience is a needed quality to play EVE.

I will explain again, You are most likely having trouble quickly finishing level 3 missions to raise standings to get levels 4s because you are probably using to big of a ship. a Battleship can NOT complete level 2 and 3 missions quickly, because it is to big. It can be done with really good suport skills but a cruiser is way faster for low level missions. Large turrets can not track the small ships and cruise missiles and torps do very little damage to small ships. A cruiser with a good fit will blow through low level missions getting your standings up very quickly.

If you are not having any trouble finishing the missions quickly, but your standings just seem to take forever to go up, then you need to spend some time training your social skills up. social 5, connections 4, and security connections 4, as a start. This will drastically increase the standings increase you get from each mission.

I can get a green character up to running level 4 missions for any corp in 3-4 days. I can get enough faction to run level 4 missions for any corp of that faction in 2-3 weeks.

But if you are to ignorant to even read my post, how can you expect to benefit from the knowledge I am willing to share with you.

This thread is a good demonstration of how an overdose of paranoia and distrust can somewhat take the place of intelligence and actually knowing mechanics. It does get funny when they act like they actually understand how the game works without stating any facts. Their reaction when you state them? Outrage at how arrogant you are.

Is this a harvestable entertainment resource provided by bears that I've missed all this time? Does it have a name?
