TL:DR I am everybody and nobody, not a head in the clouds im so elite kinda guy. It's working out rather well for me

Being elected to the CSM isnt about what you want, as the CSM isnt about handing over a list of demands to CCP and telling them to do them all.

I thought the list of rediculous items in the 'skipper plan' would make this quite clear

In my experience, "everybody and nobody" is pretty bad at game design and anticipating loopholes in potential game mechanics.

aside from your 'official' positions in your announcement, Skippermonkey, as a member of the CSM, what would you do about the constant nut-kicking ccp seems to like to dish out at ninjas?

I'm not even talking about rolling back the stealth nerfs they've put into place over the last two years...just stop nerfing! I mean they even nerf things that carebears weren't even complaining about.

I think a serious candidate for CSM should have enough of a sense of humor to see threads like this for what they are instead of giving people grief for having a little fun. You take yourself way too seriously and will probably be very difficult for the other CSM members to work with, resulting in completely ineffective representation of the demographic that votes for you.

Also I like Skippermonkey, even though I really hate monkeys.

I agree. I believe the turn-of-events trend here, (with a more realistic addition to some of the staple current CSMs), will make it a more pleasant experience for all involved. It's time for less rhetoric and more intelligence for a few of the dark horse candidates.

Speaking as one carebear who sometimes finds the time to post in the forums and not do too much else in Eve, (busy doing quality assurance in my corporation)

I welcome Skippermonkey as a candidate!!! I will vote for Skippermonkey!

He's not like any of the other candidates, so in my mind that makes him stand out as a 'regular joe' type of player. I wouldn't vote for many of the other candidates just because they're pompous and full of themselves or represent srs bsns types of power bloc B.S. Another thing I like about Skippermonkey is that he plays the game like so many of us do...trying this, trying that and just generally having fun without getting caught in the ISK-mania grind that is carebearing or the status seekers of null, or even the pomposity of a wannabe messiah ceo of a hisec corp.

I do also like Jagerblitzen but I think Skippermonkey deserves a shot, so Skip, you have my vote.
