It seems like it is not enough to remove the driver again, are you crashing as well when you have station environments deactivated?

I've tried everything, I've re-installed EVE, I've rolled back to older drivers via driver sweeper pro, I've uninstalled the client patch, I've tried repairing the client via repair.exe (run as administrator) and nothing is working. Still crashing on entering Captains Quarters.

Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64
Core i7 2600k
Asus P8P67 Pro
EVGA 570 Superclocked SLI
8GB RAM
850W Corsair HX PSU

Any ideas?

p.s when I run the repair.exe it completes almost instantly, is this the correct behaviour?

I'm going to forward this issue to one of our graphics guys, however I would recommend you to deactivate Station Environments until this issue is fixed.

PS. Yes indeed thats the right behavior, it will quickly checksum your client and unless there is a mismatch with the checksum on our servers it will just finish its run.

Edit: Just had an idea:

Did you deinstall PhysX as well?

I'm experiencing the same situation, station environment loads fine, but as soon as I try to go into captains cabin, it crashes the game and comes up with "CCP ExeFile has stopped working", only an issue since last patch.

Edit : This post seems to outline the issue, its a drivers issue with the new beta drivers : https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=64661&find=unread

Gonna try rolling back to 1 before.

Fixed via full clean rollback of drivers.

Yep , same deal on either method. Before I could not log into the game at all after character selection it was hanging like at 70% and crash with a _gameworld.dll error. Then I went into settings unchecked the station environments and was able to log into the game. Afterwards I checked while in space the station environments box and went back in fine and the logon crash stopped happening, but captain quarters is a no go either checked or not and with any driver version from current stable to latest beta 295.

we have found the issue (with the help from Nvidia) and it is because of the beta driver from Nvidia. we have a fix for the issue that is ready and waiting in the staging branch and i'm hoping to get deployed next week. i can't confirm 100% that it will be released next week, but i'm 99.9% sure we will get it out 1 way or another.

of course the work around is to remove the beta driver and install the officially released driver from Nvidia, but where's the fun in that right ? :)

hopefully i will get you more info on Monday.

( in a moment of laziness i'm going to copy this response into the other thread about the issue).
