Yes, I remember the IGB browser before it was updated to the current webkitty version. It was really bad.

The current IGB isn't any better except it can display colors and graphics.

So this is my wishlist... pwetty pweeeease? With sugar on top?

  • Update to some newer WebKit or different technology to support HTML5, embedded videos, ogg etc.
  • Do not add Flash support. Flash is from hell and needs to be destroyed.
  • Add a Bookmarks function that actually is functioning and doesn't need external progams/skills to edit the order of the bookmakrs.
  • Add a "always open in new tab" function
  • why are cookies even considered a "cache" and deleted if you clear your cache?
  • Make an additional option to just clear the browser cache
  • If you open a new tab, the input field has to be active
  • add shortcuts for the browser

More to come if I remember it

The first Dev who acknowledges the problems and promises a fix will get loads of beers at Fanfest.
Or get your Product Owner to promise it (and write an User Story) and the whole Scrum Team assigned (and that PO) get lots of beers at Fanfest.

Yeah, CCP! Don't gve us this substandard non-capsuleer browser! And don't give us a Minmatar browser either! Give us one of those browsers used by the ancient terrans, like that one from that infamous software company. What was the company called, Microsoft?

I know:

- GPU-Accelerated Rendering (like Internet Explorer 9)
- Cloud-Accelerated everything-else (like Amazon Silk)
- WebGL, HTML 5, and Flash Support (flash is required for many things, including YouTube videos)

Adding those first two things should make it WAY faster.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
