Hello everyone

If you agree with the above statement that the new website layout is far from being a boon to the community pls bumb this thread.
And let's hope ccp come to their senses and make it something a bit more "usable"

Thank you and havea safe flight

Honestly, I hardly use the damn thing except to check on my account and stuff so I'm not really all that bothered.

Wow, I had no idea they were changing it. The old site was awesome... this new one is horrible. Holy crap.

Did they lose a bet or something?

For some reason it just looks unprofessional. Like something you'd expect a college undergrad in web design to throw together for a class. :-\

Sarcasm?

The old site was ugly, dated and a PITA to navigate (before you learned where everything was hidden), the new site is prettier, modern, easier to navigate (doubly so once they finish bringing everything together) and much more likely to attract new players.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.

I completely disagree, but I'm glad to see for CCP's sake that at least 1 person likes it lol

Wow. I never imagined having everything listed under headings was difficult to navigate. You could delve through the site and everything was still readily accessible. I'm not convinced that having three or four different sites for the same thing is such a brilliant improvement. It is pretty though.

The website used to be the first place carebears would be culled before they polluted the game with their World of Warcraft spacegoat wet-dreams. Lol

However, I like the idea of separating the EVE game advertising site from the actual community website and I like the features of the new advertising website. I think that is good for new players and will give them a pretty pictures idea of the game.

At the same time, the Community site and the multitude of different sites / login spots and so forth is less friendly than the previous version and hunting through menus to find things now is a needless change in my opinion. Yeah, it's pretty. Yeah, it's more like an Apple product now. /****
