EVE Online Recruitment Center - A player run agency!

First of all, I hope CCP won't put me in jail for doing this! I promise it's all with good intentions! =)

That said, let me explain the idea.
I've decided to help my fellow pilots in recruiting or finding a home by making a Facebook page dedicated to corp/pilot adds. The plan is to link serious corps'/pilots' topics from this forum onto the Facebook page.
Anyone who "likes" the page receives an automatic update about the linked threads on his homepage (the thing we all scroll mindlessly until we realize we've been scrolling mindlessly, thus franticly looking for something else to do).

Much like how RL companies spam about their products.
Now, let me make something very clear: I am not doing this for ANY kind of profit - I'm doing simply because I think it might help a lot of people.

So, to take part in this "project", simply hop aboard and let your fellow pilots know!

This free service can also be used to help corps hire, team up with and find other corps (for whatever reason).

I could make a forum, but that would be redundant - for EVE already has a forum for corps.

Very cool idea, Pobunjenik. It would appear that more players who get involved with player corporations tend to have a better time in EVE Smile

Probably would have been a good idea to speak with CCP before doing this to avoid potential legal conflicts.

Is it illegal to make characters on facebook for your virtual alter ego's? I know you can't make em for pets so I am unsure?

I'd never in a million years go to facebook and put op my private data and I don't feel corps need to know where I live but I'd consdier making a facebook page for Ciar Meara here, I even got a nice profile picture for him...

EVE Online's first recruitment agency? :-) twitter is good for sure, there is a lot of people in #tweetfleet

Oh and we used a little officer mods. KIDDING! We used a lot of officers mods, A LOT! Because we don’t :censored: around in low-sec.

I know lotsa people hate Facebook (and still, lotsa people use facebook). That is the main reason why I also made a Twitter account for EVEORC (for those of you who cherish your anonymity).

Besides, if you already have a Facebook account, liking the EVEORC page only signals the fact that you play EVE Online - it does not in any way link your RL profile to EVE profile.
