Does the Supply Chain Managment Skill allow a player to have BPS in one station and raw materials in another station and install the jobs from the station with the BPs? Or the BPs and the raw materials have to be in the same station, and the skill allows you to install jobs remotely into the station where the items are?

You can start jobs remotly. The BPO/C and materials have to be in the same station

You can start jobs remotly. The BPO/C and materials have to be in the same station

Note that with a POS, the BPO can stay in the NPC station (minerals need to be in the assembly array).

Also the items have to be on the hanger floor, and not in containers.

It's actually quite useful if you also have the ability to set up remote buy/sell orders. Being able to deliver a job and set up a sell order without having to cross a dozen systems can be a real time saver.
