I am replying on behalf of a Native High Sec Mercenary to protect his/her identity.

"I have also noticed increase activity of the Low Sec filth of Molden Heath and have also began operations to rid of it personally.. I will be in full agreement to terms. However we need to discuss this in game when you have the alloted time to do so. Please contact Celestial Blue in game and she will contact me. I am in 100% interest in this and wish to help out by any means necessary.

I personally have been engaged against this Filth one too many times already and have been increasing my corporations assets and personel to counter it.

Please contact us as soon as you get this"

These individuals will offer ransoms which we flatly refuse to pay on morale grounds but even then they will pod our capsules without a care in the world.

Let's see. A ransom usually means pay or die. You refuse, die, then assassinate the good name of honorable warriors in a public post of tears.

To make this easier, we are willing to offer our full support to the op. To make sure things run smoothly and we can supervise the operations as we instruct. Some of our members are primarily mission runners and miners but we know how to fit a battlecruiser, even our new pilots can.

Also, OP, please pay a visit to Solitude sometime, you'll be dying to meet us.

And once the contract is over and you paid billions upon billions to merc corps , when the pirates come back -and they WILL - what is your 15 man corp gonna do then?Hire new mercs costing billions again?

Even if not a troll this is one of the worst ways to spend a shitload of isk Blink

Thanks for all the mails and conversations I had with the mercenaries who were polite enough to offer their services. I appreciate the input.

As for the actual contract. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement on the cost of such an operation. I therefore will sink back into the background and admit to having egg on my face on this call. Some of the prices begin quotes for over 15 billion isk, some as high as 25b

It seems I drastically under estimated the wealth of my corp. Where a 100 million isk seems like a large sum to some it is mere pocket chnage in the circle of the mercenaries. Again, sorry for the misunderstandings.

I did here from one group who were very keen on taking up a 'free issue' contract. No sums will be paid and they are 'doing the task for teh lulz' as the ceo of his corp told me. So we, as a group look forward to some fights over the coming weeks and months and hopefully we can stay in our new home.

Yours half heartedly in defeat but not quite finished.

FWIW I have no idea how much isk you have to spend - but clearly 'a lot of isk' is different to different people. One idea (not sure if it's been proposed) would be to use some isk for PvP training - either via some of the well known 'courses' such as the ones run by Agony Unleashed http://www.agony-unleashed.com/ and I know there are others. Or you could see if some of the better known Merc Corps would be happy to train your corpies up in some basic PvP training, ship fittings etc - you never know you might start enjoying it and running small roams!!!

However, saying all that, if you are going to mission/mine in a low sec area then be prepared to lose a LOT of ships - I really can't see how it could be economically viable EVEN if you could afford a Merc Corp to cleanse the area, as others have said - the pirates will return and more than likely will be running locator agents on you and even war deccing so they can chase you back (and into) high sec. Plus by posting with (what I assume) is your main you have simply put a nice fat crosshair on you and your corpmates as 'easy' kills!

My main is in a PvP corp with a mixed alliance that is based in high sec but borders low sec - I mainly PvE but also have a 'pure' PvP character. I would never mission or mine in low sec - why give anyone a juicy target that they can gloat over when they pop you ?

This pirate brutality MUST be stopped!

Good people of EvE, we must help Helven Fendor raise the funds he needs to hire decent mercenaries to free his region from their scummy menace!

My corporation Peacemaker Solutions is prepared to take these donations on their behalf and give them in their entirety to Mr. Fendor once he reveals his main character's organization.

Please put "Low Sec Antipiracy Fund: Minmatar" in the comment with all of your donations.

For the Republic!
