I think it is highly inappropriate and showing possible bias to have a Developer replied flag on your nomination topic. This topic should be tossed out and a new one started in the interest of fairness.

Insistence on bringing issues of sexual orientation into a game that involves NOTHING OF THE SORT... Yeah... not voting for you.

You obviously never ran any missions or epic arcs and if you did you clearly ignored the wall of text telling you the story behind them. You also appear to have never read any of the books or chronicles...

Shame on you for being so ignorant.

The game is about spaceships blowing up other spaceships. It's not about attaching breasts to random things. There are websites for you, if that's what you're into.

It's akin to when people make a similar complaint about Warcraft. Why isn't their a story about a male tauren and a male blood elf in a relationship? Probably because the game designers didn't want to think about how that would physically work. There are images we don't need when playing games. So what, if it happens that most stories that peripherally mention relationships are straight? Straight people make up a vast majority of people anyhow. If they have five relationships mentioned in the game (a stretch, I imagine for EVE), and only one is gay, you're over representing gay people (I think, not sure the percentage, tbh).

If this was Mass Effect, you'd have a case. Relationships are a major part of that game. They aren't here, there's no place for it at all. The only mentions of relationships are "X dev was having some fun with quest text". We don't need to force the devs into a corner about having fair representation and political correctness. Plus, if you came for political correctness, EVE was not the place to go.

Phobic much?
Nobody said anything about being politically correct. This has nothing to do with real life politics. This has to do with reaching a wider audience and making that game that much more realistic and believable. EVE is about the sandbox experience, who are you to tell me how to build my sandcastle? By your logic we should only let gallente ships use gallente ammo and guns or drones while segregating each ship type to a specific set of choices. You are very narrow minded and fail to see how your argument becomes ridiculous on a larger scale.

We aren't talking about a larger scale. We're talking about expecting support for things that have nothing to do with the game content. For example, the "larger scale" of your expectation, is that we must be allowed to have horses in our Captain's Quarters, because you want a horse in your sandcastle, and hence, are entitled to it.

No horses in cq are not part of lore. The limitations would be the lore.

According to lore the majority of gallente are transgendered and are very much involved in body augmentation. Where as the amarr are very prude and consider nudity and sexuality sinful outside specific contexts.

See if you bothered to READ before you POST then maybe you could avoid embarrassing yourself with how little you know about EVE.

EVE is an heteronormative wasteland.

What steps would you - as a CSM - suggest to CCP to address LBGT issues?

I am VERY happy you asked this question.

In current day many people (myself included) refuse to subject themselves to hetero-normative gender stereotypes, so why should people in the future be any different?

*EVERY article of clothing or apparel to be useable by all genders.
*EVERY form of makeup or tattoo/piercing etc to be useable by all genders.
*Lore confined anatomical modulation ( if you are gallente you can have breasts as a male or the inverse but not as amarr because amarr would see that as a sin against god)
*Several sliders included in character creation and customization that alter levels of femininity and masculinity. So at any given time you can make your character look more butch or fem depending on how you feel that day. (It's the future you should be able to do that)

The above list is not exhaustive...

It seems that you're no significant improvement on CCP. Why do you insist on subscribing to the outdated concept of a gender binary to the exclusion of all trans*, genderqueer, non- and pan- and inter- sexed and other non-traditional minorities? Are you going to advocate replacing the gender option with a selection of sliders and null options to allow all people to choose a gender identity that fully reflects them?

I didn't think so. You make nice words but you're every bit as bigoted as those you would advise.

I do hope you are trolling. My changes would be anything but gender binary. I already mentioned that there would be several sliders so that everybody would be happy.

I feel I am a viable candidate because my Goals and Agendas are parallel with the goals of the majority as well as CCP. I do not agree with everything CCP has done but, by making the game more appealing to a wider population without sacrificing the enjoyment attained by the current population you in effect increase subs as well as current player satisfaction.

Do you really believe that one man stopped the whole development team of ccp?

Most people would see the past record of CCP pushing back dead lines, and think nothing of this. But you seem to think that this one man "the boogie man" as you seem to think of him, is some how manipulating all of CCP?

Please explain how this is possible?

And am i to assume you would push for walking in stations if elected?
why is that.
