Just been and salvaged after a mission, and all the wrecks had a little blue star in the corner, not noticed this before but that doesnt mean it wasnt there. What does it mean? Cant find anything from googling.

Thanks in advance

Check your overview settings.

You are in an alliance. Anyone also in the alliance can loot the wreck without getting flagged for theft. The wreck effectively belongs to the alliance.

By default it is actually a white star on a blue background. A white star means it has something to do with your corporation or alliance or faction (example: war targets are white star on red background, and corp members are a white star on a green background).

Any small icon on the lower right side of anything tells you it's relation towards you.
So basically it tells who owns the thing and your relation towards the owner (keep in mind your relation can be on multiple layers, it can be your personal relation, relation set by your corp or even by your alliance. It always breaks down that alliance standings overrule corp standings which will overrule personal standings, so if a player is orange to you (bad standing), red to your corp (terrible standings) but dark-blue towards alliance (excellent standings) the thing your looking at will show up as dark-blue.

Here is a quick overview of possible icons you will see (keep in mind these are default, you can alter them to your likings. you can also rearrange the order of priority to show up) :

Attention Red background with white star - Pilot is at war with your corp (or alliance if your in an alliance).
Attention Blue background with white star - Pilot is in your alliance.
Attention Green background with white star - Pilot is in your corporation
Attention Purple background with white person icon - Pilot is in fleet with you.

Attention Dark blue background with white + sign - Person has excellent standing towards you (personal, corp or alliance).
Attention Light blue background with white + sign - Person has good standing towards you
Attention Orange background with white - sign - Person has bad standings towards you
Attention Red background with white - sign - Person has terrible standings towards you

Attention Red background with white skull - Person is classified as an outlaw (pilot has a sec standing of below -5.0) or you have kill rights towards the pilot (he did an act of aggression on you, like stealing from your can or wreck).
Attention Yellow background with white skull - Person has a sec status below 0 (but higher then -5.0)
Attention Black background with white skull - Pilot has a bounty on him
Attention Grey background with white = sign - Pilot has neutral standings toward you or has no set standing at all
Attention Purple background with white star - Pilot is in your militia

Keep in mind any icon in this list is customizable, can be rearranged in priority to show up (if multiple icons are valid for someone the first in the list is the one that will be shown) and you can disable icons if you don't want them to show up at all.
