Apoligies to all. Perhaps its bad form to write about characters belonging to myself and friends but seeing as my lauching point, hopefully it won't be to bad. They might change later, unsure at this time. Just looking for a little feedback before going on. And since I have NO idea on what I'm doing... ANY input would be welcome. Or if I need to fix spacing. whatever.

Unexpected Allies

The console flashed quickly, displaying names and locations of people throughout the Republic. Three commanders of the Republic fleet, four tribal members of the Brutor and even a few fringe scientists with Thrukker Mix, all contacts of an estranged Brutor Tribe member. A man that was under investigation by the Empire. Why this Caldari Covert agent, belonging to one or another of their damned corporations was requested to over see this mission, the man in the corner did not understand.. Standing, Eben Auditore ran his hands down his robe, smoothing its creases before turning away from the gray haired man that was intent on his scanning of the lists on the computers display.

"Rens...", Eben mumbled, quickly flashing a symbol of the Holy with his hands, "What madness as brought me to the home of the slaves?" Clearing his throat loudly the Caldari agent replied, "Duty, my Amarran friend," his eyes quickly scanning the screen before him. A chuckle sounded from the robed man, "Duty Raesan? How can you speak to an Amarran about duty when dealing with the Minmatar?" he drawled before pulling the hem of his robe up and walking to where the man could see him. "What experiences do you have in this matter, Caldari? Besides trying to steal their money" The gray haired Raesan pushed his chair back from the desk slightly but kept his eyes intent on the readout. "Enough, holy man", he responded spitefully. A smile crept its way to Eben's lips as the Caldari turned his blue eyes to look up at him. Despite the gray hair, he looked quite well for a man of 80 years old. His clones had been well kept. It was disgusting.

Folding his arms into his sleeves, Eben relaxed leaning against the bulk head behind him. A new report came skirting across the screen, trails of light flashing across Raesan's face. Eben couldn't read what it intailed but the Caldari agents eyes widened. "It says here that a man, named Lycio, is a known acquaintance of my quarry.." he quirked, turning to face his compatriot. Cocking his head to the side, looking at the robbed figure intently, "It says.." he continued, " that this man Lycio is a member of a capsuleer corporation." Eben nodded willfully, a wistful smile crossing his face. "It also has the name of said Corporation, my friend." he carried on, his hand slowly drifting from the arm of the chair, toward his chest. "Do you know what it is, Eben?" he asked carefully, letting his finger twitch visibly as his hand continued its trek. A bright flash of light filled the room, followed immeadeatly by a loud whooshing sound. Eben blinked irritably, waiting for his vision to clear. A loud beep resounded in his ear.

"This is Auditore", he responded to the internal communicator. "Damned, all blasted, egotistical Calamari!" the voice on the other side screamed. With a sigh, Eben lowered the CAR-9 pistol to the desk, "How did you die this time Corin?", he asked, shaking his head in revulsion of the man going through so many unclean bodies. Tossing his disgust from his mind he went about examining the large burn hole left through Raesan's forehead. It was a waste, the man had been dutiful. Unfortunatly, it was a trait that didn't quite fit with current circumstances. Flashing his hands instinctively, offering his respects to the Holy God, Eben proceeded to dump the body onto the floor. "Flaming ECM support" the voice screamed again. Chirps of a control board bounded through the communicator before a long pause. "Are you in my quarters, Eben?" the deep voice on the communicator asked inquisitively. "Yes. And if you wouldn't mind Corin, bring an incinerator with you and inform Lycio that I have another finger for his collection. We have many preperations to make."

And the quality, detail and flow is great too. The use of back story in such a small space is a nice refresher as well.

way to go corin

Thanks guys, I've actually got a few more pages to toss down here but need speel check and all that jazz first. So whenever I get over this cold (and deal with a few more things in game) I'll hop to it. Don't suppose there is a way to remove this thread and start another topic is there? Don't want to just keep posting on this one unless I have to. Eh, personal preference I guess.

Anyway, I'll get some more on here soon. (need another premission to use a name as well ;) Anyway, peace guys.
