EVE PvP used to be more like Syria, now it seems more like Dennys.

Seriously... when I started PvPing, there were continuous hotdrops, 80 to 100 supercarriers hitting every fleet formed up. it was pure murder.

Now its like... 100 Drakes who never shoot missiles, and just guard the wrong gates.

Nerf Drakes, Buff Supercaps.

You know this isn't funny. Mass death is a country isn't fodder for EVE jokes.

This may be true, but the OP still has a point. Supercarriers are severely underpowered in the current nullsec metagame. Buff supercarriers so they have a chance against subcaps.

Yes, supercarriers need a serious buff. Titans also have some issues tracking frigates, which is clearly a major issue for balance. These things need to be fixed, CCP. Let supercaps operate with impunity again, they are such a huge investment that it shouldn't be so easy to kill them when they are alone!

Two more high slots, that would do it.

What the hell does EVE supercaps have to do with people getting slaughtered?

On a serious note, do you think Assad will run for CSM? He would not let CCP get away with the nex store, and keep us on out toes for pvp.

I guess a lot of people don't fly because they can't afford to lose. Or stand to lose. Either way, comparing this game to wholesale slaughter is pretty despicable.

Darn another 0/10 post incoming.

Nothing anymore, they were nerfed with crucible and loggoffski was banned. They use to though.

Titans have better tracking than Battleships using the new standard fits.

You're wrong, EVE has always been like Denny's. You have to PVE irl to buy food at Denny's. In Syria all the action comes to you for free.

EVE forces the player to PVE in order to afford PVP

EVE is a carebear MMO as soft and fluffy as a pancake.

That's the most rational response to a joke in poor taste I've seen in years and this is the internet too.

Have a like, I like rational people even if I disagree with them :)

Folks. Seriously. Stop....

The situation in Syria is horrific. These people don't have clones or even means to defend themselves from the incoming fire that is killing men women and children alike. It is not EVE it is not a game. And it is topics like these where so called "experts" point to as evidence of gaming causing a disconnect between reality and fantasy.

They beg for help they can't surrender because they will simply be killed anyway. And we compare them to a hotdrop? Wtf?

Just stop.

The people directly joking about Syria are starting to genuinely anger me.

You obviously don't have a clue what real suffering is like. Get out of your comfortable first-world bubble and open your damn eyes before joking about something that serious.
