hi i have been trying to find a legion fit that could solo pvp without spending billions of isk on it

is there any reasonable lasor fits out there that are effective or do i have to go with the HAM setup i am still 10 days from t2 hams so would have to sort my skill queue out if i was to go that route :/

this is what i came up with for a ham legion with my skill atm:

If it takes billions of isk on the Tengu + alts I don't think you could successfully Solo PVP in the Legion without spending a lot.

I'm no expert but every decent solo fit for a T3 I've seen cost at least a billion ISK.

you essentially want faction web, AB EANMS. and maybe a t2 rig. DOnt bother on the damage units waste of cash if you dont wnana blow a fortune on it. Oh and youll want a slave set. Id advise a buffer ham fit dont ever do active rep for pvp its too gimmicky especially with armor( unless its your style ofcourse)

The only solid active tanked legions I have flown with and against costed 2-3bil for starters.

that said once you spend it is a nice boat, but costly yeah :)

100MN AB + HAMs. Don't fly it until you have t2 weapons.

Honestly the legion is a pretty depressing ship, there really isn't much you can do with it while it's T2 fit that other ships can't do equally well for less cost. It does scale well with ISK in the sense that if you're going to spend ISK on it you will see it's ability continue to grow nicely till around 3 bil, but it's a bad idea. I'm guilty of this myself and I regret it.

If you try T2 HAM buffer fitting it, you'll get a similar tank and dps out of a drake for 1/7th the cost.
If you try T2 HAM active tanking it, the sacrilege will basically do the same thing, or a myrmidon (just with drones instead of HAMs)

Lasers are pretty much a joke on this ship with the exception of in AHAC fleets. I don't really know why CCP made this such a terrible laser platform for pvp. The ship is actually fairly fast using a MWD and the chassis optimization sub, so I guess if you want you can active tank/kite/laser fit it and it will work, but a vagabond is probably better.

The 100mn AB HAM fit is pretty meh in my opinion but not terrible.

I'd really like to comment more on it, but I abandoned lasers (and most of amarr) as a solo platform a while ago. The harbinger was the first BC I got T2 guns for and I was very depressed with the performance of lasers, and now I'm sort of jaded against them v0v.

Also, at the risk of looking like a fool, here is an idea I had a while ago for a solo PVP legion.

You can swap out the neuting sub for the dissolution sequencer, drop one of the neuts, and put an AB or whatever in the mids if that variant floats your boat more.

In fact, it looks so terribly amusing I think I will buy it and fly it right now.
