Hello!

Back in 2006 I ran a few missions in Molden Heath for the Republic Fleet. Since then, I mainly did pvp with a little exploration here and there. I am considering setting up a JC at a mission hub where I can make some decent ISK without fooling with exploration.

So, here's the question: What would you suggest is the best for making isk on lvl 4's? Including LP reward and salvage and loot? Stick with my Minni or head to Ammar / Gallente / Caldari space?

On bounties and straight ISK payout, faction doesn't really matter too much. Caldari is probably the most annoying there due to Guristas' tendency to jam the **** out of you, which can significantly lower your completion times.

Blood/Sansha are generally regarded to drop the best loot and salvage. Angels and Serpentis come in next, with Guristas a distant last.

The real question, and one I can't answer, is LP conversion rates. If you're really serious about making money from missions, you'll need to figure this one out for yourself -- but that involves lots of fiddling with tag prices and different LP stores to maximize your winnings. I know that right now Amarr and Caldari LP stores have a bad reputation, but I know that there are still some decent items to be had, at least for Amarr. Gallente is actually decent here, though tag prices are going a little crazy at the moment. I'm clueless on Minmatar and Caldari, but poke around.

You could always go another route entirely and grind LP for a minor faction (SoE, Thukker, etc). Their LP tends to be pretty decent and if you find the right agent, you can go up against the pirates you're most suited to fight.

Hope that's a decent start to an answer....

I have found gurista salvage to be better than serpentis. Gurista salvage includes ward consoles needed for shield rigs, serpentis does not seem to have an equivalent.

For LP, do not discount caldari. Some if their module bpcs are worth the money, as can be the invulnerablity field. Also, caldari missiles are always a popular seller and an ok way to turn LP to isk. Depending on the corp, caldari also includes some of the scan probe hardwires which can make decent profit.

As for tags, be careful here. Tags only come from empire faction wrecks. These wrecks cone from missions where you fight a. empire faction. This will ruin your standing with that faction. For example, i did way too many anti gallante missions. I had to train connections or some other social skill to 5 just so I could fly through gallante space. You may want to limit your missions to only those against pirate factions or keep a close eye on your standings.

I am not allowed in Gallente space I think my Diplo5 still has me at -6.x something from well -9 haha. I have no reason to go there myself. I can jump straight across Gallente space into Amarr and I am hero there so all is good.

Consoles sell for nothing though if I am not mistaken. Shield rigs are dime a dozen these days unless T2 of course. But Gurista do have the best bounties, some missions like The Assualt and Recon 1/1 pay out nice fat bounties. I think Assault total and it is random sometimes is between 22 and 26 million for all of the mission rats. What makes Recon 1/1 so nice is that you will get the two highest mission BS 1.12 million and the 1.2 million battleships and a wide range of elite Cruisers and BCs. A lot of people blitz recon 1/1 but you are missing out on some easy isk. The Assault can be blitzed also but not recommended unless you can't handle the incoming DPS in the second room.

Gurista jamming is not near as bad if you have f.o.f. missles or drones.

Armor plates? Serpentis wrecks drop them. Not in the same abundance that Sansha and Blood wrecks do, but they are there.
