When voting for multiple candidates for multiple seats there are several ways to do the voting. Currently we do the "one vote only" method for CSM. There has been talk of a transferable vote. But a quite simple and easy to understand method is called "Approval voting" .

In Approval voting you get one vote per candidate:

[ ] Yes, I approve of this candidate being on the CSM
[ ] No, I do not approve of this candidate being on the CSM

You vote "yes" for all candidates you approve of. No worries about splitting votes between several candidates that all look good to one group.

The candidates with the most yes votes win.
