0.0 alliances have long been demanding full access to their member's in game accounts, and not knowing any better or out of a weak will or low self-esteem, lowly 0.0 occupants have submitted to it. But it was never strictly required and someone could always say no right? Out of ignorance these poor little kids were giving out way more information then they knew and now that they've fully submitted and are in complete acquiescence to their masters.

Edit:
CCP is now putting irl financial details within the API so alliance leaders will know when an account is paid until, how it is paid, the account name and even the real life name of the account owner.

It would be one thing if the players were aware of what the API is or had some control but in this master/slave relationship within 0.0 CCP is fully aware that players do not.

Before, when an alliance leader cracked the whip, the lowly 0.0 player was forced to do as told *if he was online* if he didn't have a really good excuse. But now armed with irl details of the 0.0 player real human beings are going to fall into a perverse control outside of the game. Where does this end? 0.0 alliance leadership calling the houses of their servants and speaking with their parents?

Just think about it, with the irl name of their members, they will have access to their facebooks, their pictures, to photshop doing all kind of disgusting things. Then sending these pictures to the slave's family, to his school? To his irl friends?

The question is why now? Why at all?

With enthusiasm in 0.0 hitting a new low Goons/CCP/CSM have made an unprecedant powergrab that crosses all kind of ethical and moral boundaries

What's worse is that 99 percent of people in 0.0 are helpless weakwilled children or male virgin beta's as proven in their hence to for complete submission

Can CCP afford this now, I see the effects of this change to be dire and I'd like to see more attention paid to this issue

Please refer to CCP Stillman's clarification here, CCP Phantom.

if this happened to you, you should petition it.

but judging from my own experience that statement is simply not true.

god I wish I hadnt pressed it.

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

Assuming there isn't a grand conspiracy going on right under my nose the only people that can gain physical access to your account is either you, or a CCP employee and niether can be done at the same time if they have good security, the only time a CCP employee could fiddle with your account to my knowledge is if they're taking a peak into the actual server where all the information is going to be stored.

It's you're own fault going to people with these information when they are known and blatant scammers, if this is the future of EVE 0.0 I want nothing to do with it, it's your own dumbass fault for playing along with this game and anyone else who ends up losing their account for providing them with all this information.

There is a very obvious I use of making sure I keep the virtual world and reality seperate, it's an object that I am looking at now, it's made of thin glass, it projects light and images and it's powered by electricity. laugh at the pathetic saps who take this game too seriously and end up being taken advantage of, when I get tired or frustrated with this game I either play something else or I go and draw, I know my limits.

If you guys are fed up with the way 0.0 alliances are treating you, get a blob alliance together and go crush them, with your standings in high sec and the ability to get ISK whenever you want you'd kill them all in a manner of days.

it's amazing how you can conjure something up in your mind, post it on the forums and lead a bunch of eve players to believe it and be angry about it

You idiots are partly to blame here because you go around scamming noobs constantly, don't **** in someones coffee and then wonder why they've decided to throw up on you.

i'd like to correct this falsehood, we do not scam newbies (they are not worth scamming) (they are poor, you see) (and not because we make them poor HEH)
