Do you play Neurotic Log-in Games w/the Maller?

I know some of you are wondering... WTF are you talking about. If so... ignore this thread, move along, nothing to see here.

But for those that do get it... tell me about your game.


My personal favorite is to logon just before the maller fires the first shot and I see how close I can get.

Yep, I do this too. Or try to get past the login screen before the turrets flop out, although that isn't much of a challenge. Sometimes, when I go afk my computer goes into standby, severing my internet connection. If I'm still on the login screen, the Maller sequence is frozen. If it's firing its lasers when that happens, I won the game.

I use to play that with my F12 key.
Log in, F12 - check if petition got answered, Log off . . . Repeat

Sometimes I just watch the ship firing its lasers, love the animation etc... then i realise im too tired to be playing EvE Sad

It's not a Maller, it's a Sac (lolfit with lasers - must be some subtle CCP troll that I don't get...)

My CPU is a bit old, so maybe you won't be able to play this "game" yourself, but...

1) start the client
2) minimize immediately
3) put the headphones on and wait for the music that marks that the ship is shooting
4) quickly maximize the window and watch as the ship zooms very fast from its original position, blasts the first volley and continues to float slowly to the right Cool

Yes, I have done this. I usually try to log in before the big laser show. Sometimes I listen to the whole tune and wait for the Maller to come round again too.

It's like stepping, or not stepping, on the cracks in the pavement.
