A small update. It seems we've basically struck out with finding a match in our time zone. We're a little too late for NA, and a bit too early for EU.

We would appreciate any heads up for a quality nullsec/lowsec corp operating between 0500 - server shut down. Seems everyone has an active alliance at these hours - but empty corps.

We know you're out there somewhere..

Sounds like you guys are pacific US or AU timezone by the sounds of it? Our corp is actively trying to grow in this timezone, we have a small group of active pilots in this timezone and combined with the other small groups from other corps in our alliance we can get a decent sized fleet together when we feel like it.

It is a fairly challenging timezone to say the least haha, if you want to have a chat about what you want to do and a bit more about what your looking for drop us a msg and I can get you on our comms.

I also play with 3 of my real friends and know what synergy can contribute to a corp. We usually look for pilots with tech2 fitting skills at a minimum and some pvp experience but I do believe in molding good pilots. If you guys would like i'd like to chat with you guys and see if you could have a EVE career in a mercenary corp.

Contact "Zatara Amatin" ingame is the best way to reach me and our official recruiting thread is below:

I have a proposition for you, if you've not yet taken the dive.

We've found that recruiting preexisting clans is an excellent way to promote stability and future growth. It also drastically cuts down on the probability of infiltration and all that nonsense. Thus, the fact that you come as a group of four is actually your strongest selling point... which may or may not be obvious from the spam above this post.

We're unconcerned with your SP given the format of approach... before you move to null you should have certain skills and be run through some tips, but that doesn't take long. One of our most prominent directors has lived in high-sec for only a week of his career in EVE.

If one of you is going into industry and the others into PVP, you'll need a place where both interests can be sustained and benefit mutually. Otherwise eventually your best interests will diverge.

In short, you want the dronelands.

Where we live, a strong industrial core is key to survival. It mucks up the killboard a bit, but that's well worth it for the trade-offs. We have a strong local market where most nullsec alliances are forced to import from high-sec. We build most of what we fly, right down to the ammo and rigs... and the prices we pay are often lower than Jita. Drones drop alloys instead of bounties, which generate tritanium and render null-sec local manufacturing tenable where it otherwise wouldn't be (you'll never get null-sec industrialists to voluntarily mine veldspar).

There's plenty of PVP up here, and it generally comes in useful, educational doses. The groups we fight vary widely due to a convenient misconception that we're easier targets than we are. In four fleets, we'll get two that are easily butchered, one that puts up a fight and one that takes us to school and gives us new ideas. The formula works.

It's a good place to learn the 0.0 ropes precisely because it is so far out in the a**-end of the galaxy that it's almost impossible to interface daily with high-sec bar through a heavily centralized logistics chain.

Our corporation has a long history that we've carried through many names. We've lived almost everywhere in EVE at some point in our history, in some name or another, and we have trained most of our own membership from egg (including all the current directors and current CEO). Our turnover rate is near zero and there's a reason for that.

There is no better place than FIOF to find your way through EVE.

Our public Channel is "FFFI Pub" (holdover from our last iteration a few years ago, long story) or you can message me / convo me in game.
