2508 Wormhole systems?

Hey

I just thought I would have a look at the new eve web site and I noticed that it says there are 2508 wormhole systems.
I thought when they were launched there was 2499 systems announced?

Is this a genuine mistake or possibly a not so inadvertant slip?
Is there hidden WH systems that we dont know about yet? Maybe Sansha has set up shop in there or maybe it is a 'real' reviaval of the talocan empire?

Dev answer required I think. ( Or discuss)

If I remember correctly, there's always been about 2500 w-systems. Even if there wasn't that many at first, at least there's more now which is a good thing, right?

There were 2499 systems announced when anokis went live.

Either someone at CCP made a mistake saying there were 2508 or there is some new content been slipped in quietly as they have done else where. It could be CCP's way of dropping bread crumbs in the woods for us to look into .

Have you tried checking the data dumps? IIRC sites like Dotlan pull their information straight from the server, so there wouldn't be any errors in the system count.

Quick, someone go and start bookmarking sometime in every individual wormhole and when you have 2501 we'll know if this is correct.

Perhaps CCP use those additional WHs for their private parties/orgies/testing?

Since no-one kept a list of all the loci, u wont be able to tell which ones are new (if there are any new ones)

Yeah maybe not but its still interesting to speculate.
Maybe we shud wait for comments from the devs but they probably are not reading this.

Still only 2498 Wormhole systems in the latest dump Khaz.

probably a typo, or unless someone else suggested maybe systems ccp uses for testing.
