New ship contest

I was thinkin about the wish of most players for new ships.

Maybe it is an idea to put out a design contest in two stages with the following catogeries:
frigates, cruisers, batlecruisers and batleships. meaning the T1 huls
and maybe for the for races and/or for the pirat factions but that can be to mutch in one go.

after voting and anouncing the winers stage two could be as follow:
people could vote if the wining designs would be T1 huls or a T2 variant
for example just a cruiser or a comand ship for the cruiser hul winer.

any thoughts about it?


ps balans is somthing to keep in mind ofcourse.

I think the main thing that most players who have thought it through wish for is stuff that's long overdue to be fixed, to be fixed. How about if we fix what's already in the game before throwing in more stuff that will need to be fixed? Call me crazy, but it sounds like a great idea.

Each faction needs a different looking pod
