Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled - Zoomed out: I never had my brackets disabled, but enabled the FPS was around 5-10 FPS
Average FPS - Zoomed in: 10-20 FPS (during combat, normal non-massive-fleet gameplay is 60+ FPS)
On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) Probably a 7?
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? Yes, shortly after firing at the POS, my client froze and crashed.
Did you see any problems with the UI? Maybe - during the fight in Poitot my overview had several blank entries with what looked like drone icons (I have drones turned off).
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Fairly smooth until the POS shootout, then my FPS dropped to 5 FPS. Also during the fight in Poitot.

User Experience :
Average FPS during fight : 7-10 (lower than the previous masstest, using the same settings), the new brackets doesn't affect fps as much as it used to be, so, good job CCP!
FPS/Performance comparison : 9/10 (far lighter than TQ, imo), turning on brackets on huge fights normally drops the fps significantly, on this test it's hardly noticable, GJ.
no disconnects/crashes

Problems : almost 30% of the overview details doesn't load, it just shows empty rows during fights (right after gate jump), the brackets seems to work as normal tho.

Average FPS - Zoomed in: 15
On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome)
3, TQ and sisi have same fps however i found more UI wonkyness in the sisi test. People would not show up. The list did not update as frequently causing things to jump around.
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? No
Did you see any problems with the UI? Missing people in the UI, I would see their brackets nut not their names/shiptypes
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: My bombs were actually really responsive. When they detonated my client did not freeze. I did have some wonkyness having to do with warping to the gate. Often I would warp to 50 and land at 10.

  • CPU: 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  • GPU: ATI Radeon 4870
  • RAM: 6 GB 1066MHz DDR3
  • How many clients were you running at the same time? 1 - I came late to the test, so I didn't have time to get today's patch for all three clients.
  • Graphic setting of the client (low / medium / high): Low

User Experience

  • Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled - Zoomed out: Untested. I lost my ship soon after arrival.
  • Average FPS - Zoomed in: 6 FPS, brackets on.
  • On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) - 3, somewhat worse than Tranquility, but I don't participate in large battles. This might be better than previous mass-tests, but my previous participation was with three clients and I only had time to set up one, today, so a direct comparison is tricky. That said, this does look promising.
  • Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? No crashes or disconnects.
  • Did you see any problems with the UI? The Overview seems to have weird minimum-width restrictions on columns.
  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: If players are being asked to reship when losing a ship in a mass-test, then warp interdiction bubbles should be prohibited and auto-destroyed so that people can warp their pods out and clear the session change timer before going to the massmoveme channel. Also, general reminders should be given that massmoveme can still be used to reship during the test.

Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled - Zoomed out: 10-15 average 12

FPS would vary wildly

Brackets on Zoomed out say 10, zoomed in say 4 (sometimes down to 2)

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 5. Its almost fast enough to feel comfortable in a big fight. Another factor of 2 in speed and you got it.
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? No
Did you see any problems with the UI?

Oh yes. Text was a splotchy mess. Bug reported, already came back "known issue"
Sometimes the overview would have items not display (an empty line) or items greyed out. I made sure I did not have control pressed; issue still there.
When the FC tagged a target, that target would not be tagged in the overview. It would float to the top of the overview, just no tag.
When jumping into warp, leaving a well populated grid, the FPS would drop to zero for several seconds. Even in warp the FPS was quite choppy.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

Note: During the first part of the test I was selecting "show all brackets" and seeing no brackets. I bug reported it, then discovered I had "hide all brackets" set. Oops, not a bug, just me messing up.

I switched overview tabs back and forth several times. In past mass tests this would result in a utterly lagged out client. In this test the client stayed responsive!

Did you see any problems with the UI? Yes partial text drop outs, but was experiencing this prior to today's test. Filed BR No. 127135. Problems using the IGB scroll bars; cursor has to be very near the edge or the moveable scroll bar to be able grab and scroll , when place in middle of the scroll bar,the cursor grabs the whole window and drags.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: On the whole very "laggy" during the engagements, in terms of both trying to interact with targets, ship modules etc and also the overview when filtering.
