This is a whimsical idea but may add allot of color to the backdrop of stations. What are the stations going to look and feel like when the doors from the captains quarters finally open? What if you had the stations reflect what they are named. One type of station is named Echelon entertainment, that could have some look and feel of a virtual Vegas, some slot machines, roulette tables and ect... Poker would be interesting to play against another pilot while discussing corp business or a low sec back water station that has a grimy feel and uses up the commodities of dancing girls and spirits.... Maybe the inside of POS's can reflect the style of that corp...

CCP is still working on patching up the fiasco that was Incarna. Wait a bit before asking for more WiS content. (And waht you're suggesting is already on their radar AFAIK)

Translate "wait a bit" with "don't consider asking before 2016".

He he 2016...I understand that things do not happen over night. Maybe what I said was taken somewhat out of context. I was not asking for or of ccp but more of a feed back from the other players on what there expectations are for the future. From what I gather the fiasco is not what Incarna was but how it got presented to the subscribers and that brought a lot of negative feedback. I liked the new dimension Incarna brought to the game and would like to see more, even if it is in 2016. I do not want to wait that long but it is what it is. Do not forget that there are people out there you can hang with a brand new rope and they will still find a reason to complain. I like Eve and signed up for a year.

Well the issues with Incarna were:
1. It was a new system that was forced on to people
2. It was released only partially done
3. It came with a $ game item store
4. There was leaked documents discussing releasing things that would affect gameplay for $ at the same time (AKA, P2W)
5. It was used as a testbed for another game CCP was working on as much as it was an actual addition to Eve
6. There were massive efficiency issues leading to overheating and some crashing of computers
7. It removed ship spinning, a beloved pass-time of many people in Eve

That is why there was massive backlash from it and a large number of people who unsubscribed, and that is why CCP is currently doing all they can to backpedal and get on people's good side instead of pouring salt in an open wound.

I have no doubt that they will continue to work on Incarna (they have already said that they will, though at a slower pace). But I wouldn't suggest holding your breath for it to be finished. I don't expect any major updates to Incarna before this Winter or next Summer at the very earliest, if not later than that.

As to interest, I think some people might be interested in it, but I think many people would be derisive of such a thing. I mean, why play poker in a station when you can play EOH in space while you're doing other things too?

I'm not trying to discourage you really, just trying to lay out the facts and suggest that it might still be a bit too soon to start any serious talk about Incarna again.
