Please check this on Singularity tomorrow - the minimum width was reduced again.

delete the files in the singularity folder then copy the files in the eve folder it.
download the patch run the patch and when it ask you if you was sure you wanted to patch here ans you will see it asking for the eve folder hit no or right click what ever it ask for the show it where the folder is you what the patch should go.
that will patch right once patched use the icon on desktop.
if it dont work then it has something to do with windows 7.
this is the way i do my patching and it works every time for me.
i dont use the luncher anymore.
the luncher is where i keep geting hung up with.
so i dont use it now.
well i hope this helps you.
should give you a clean patch.

Well I went step by step. I erased the whole folder, create a new one, copy the whole eve into singularity folder. create a shortcut with the /server:Singularity, then I run the game, patched, restarted, I see the main screen with full compatibility for the singularity server and as soon I try to type my user name, games freeze and shutdown and gave the same errors than before. I change it to english and still no luck, so any other ideas and thanks in advance. The worst part is that before crucible, the singularity and duality server worked just fine on this same machine :(

i run windows xp and it runs fine for me.
the only thing i can think of is it has something to do with windows 7.
i dont think there is anything else you can try that would fix it.
so you may have to wait on a patch to fix it.

Well thanks everyone. However what worries me is that tomorrow patch could screw my main EVE game. Current EVE main game version is 7.21.336683 and Singularity version, which is ahead, is 7.22.338708. I wonder what version will be deployed with crucible 1.1.3 and if I going to have the same trouble with my main EVE game after the patch, I do hope not.

thanks everyone again,

Sincerely,

RG

While the code might have been tested on sisi, per CCP history. It will be in the form of a client patch with some server back in tweaks. Cant wait on the devblog with more stats to see what the devs can do now that they previously could notTwisted

The major client and server changes in the current sisi release are not related to the start up issues that is refered to in the devpost.

Today's patch on Tranquility (Crucible 1.1.3) will be 7.21.338500 (which was tested internally) and not 7.22.338708, which is being tested on Singularity. 7.22.x is planned to be Crucible 1.2.

Hey, a short update:

Nearly all known issues should be fixed now on Singularity! Make sure to write a bugreport and reply here, if you find any broken stuff!

Btw: We'll have mass test on Singularity today evening at 20:00 UTC.

Double Clicking in space multiple times in rapid succession says "please wait..." which is very annoying.

Don't nerf double-clicking to move please - it's VERY IMPORTANT for frigate piloting. Nerfing the ability to double click to move will single-handedly kill all piloting ability and advantage a frigate has. No, Orbit and Keep at Range are not good. Thanks.

Random issues with the overview sticking, etc - but I think you're on those problems. Windows are shifting around, etc.

Can you guys add CUDA-accelerated rendering or FXAA or something like that?

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

It already supports AA. Look at your graphics options. CUDA is predomintly used for applications/video rendering, I would much prefer to see physX effect in space, there is so much they could do there. The overhead would be much lower for a much improved image. They already work, and use physX(in station) with nVidia.

I can confirm the annoying double clicking thing. I to fly my ships using the "clicking in space" method. I HATE IT CCP. When your saying death to session change, you go and add something like this?

regarding the double click thing..

do the following:

transmit the first command
if player continues to spam a command {
start sampling and transmit only the most recent command
}

dropping the last command is exactly the wrong way around (and please stop with the "play slower" notifications)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Please discuss the double click thing in this thread to keep it in one place. CCP Atlas is still tweaking the values for it.

I said FXAA. It is a completely different Anti-Aliasing method from MSAA, which is what EVE uses.

And for CUDA, I mean for volumetric effects or radiosity or something like that.

Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing is a more effective and more effecient version of Anti-Aliasing, which is done in Post Process, and it only does Anti-Aliasing on the edges of things, not on the entire image. This results in an image that isn't as blurry.

Don't forget to look at the Whitepaper PDF when you have the chance.

The new UI and overview are pretty cool now that they work, however I did notice an issue with the ingame browser not rendering within its boundaries correctly if UI scaling was used. I'm not sure if this is a related issue to the changes you have done but a bug report has been submitted under ID#127908.
