Client Crash At Start - Up

Last night, Eve was crashing quite a lot. Several of my corp mates all had simultaneous crashes. Since that occurred, I am now unable to relaunch my client past the splash screen on my MBP.

I tried deleting the cache files and I tried the repair tool -- the repair tool fails.

Any suggestions?

Running latest Lion os on a 2 month old MBP 2.2Ghz i7 with 8GB ram.

So far only cure is reinstall, but client crashes again and then doesn't start, as before -> Game unplayable

restoring from time capsule to a state before the failure has fixed the problem. I restored the eve online app files and the cache and setting files located in the library. This seems to have restored functionality for now.
