I have been considering running this for the Faction Standings, but I cannot find how it works. I am assuming, that you get the Faction standings based on who you choose from the branch part of the arc? This would make the most senese to me, but I just wanted some clarification before I started this long mission series.

Also.. AF's still good for this?

Yep, you get to choose whose standings will improve near the end.

AFs will murder this series, no problem. Even more so now with the recent buffs.

Additionally, you are actually doing "normal" missions for the various Corps with the special storyline mission offered after each 16th mission, which might be relevant for the SOE Corp itself.

The SOE is sort of an introduction to how an Epic Arc is. The SOE is very easy but takes long to complete (50 missions + 3 storyline that you get doing all the missions)

At the end (all the way at the end) you choose which faction you want to help and get standing from. The increase is good and will help you a lot if you have a big negative standing.

The problem is that you will be flying around a lot more the doing the missions - that is what I did not like about the SOE Epic Arc. But all in all a nice Faction standing boost.
