Currently if you refine at an NPC station with less than 6.67 standings, that NPC corp takes a cut of your minerals, and those minerals "disappear" from the game.

I propose that instead the NPC stations stockpile these minerals, and sell them on the market (perhaps during each downtime the amounts are summed, and offered on the market when the servers go back up- or maybe only once a week)

Their sell price is determined by the average market value for the region at the time the sell order goes up.

Then people could buy from the NPC "take" stockpile.
ISK goes to the NPCs and disappears. More resources are in game to build ships from.
More ships, less ISK = lower prices
ie it will slow inflation.

I'm sure people running mining bots will whine that they want more profit from mining, and this would hurt it.

But the mineral prices are screwed enough as it is. Though I like the ISK Sink part. It could help the economy for sure.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I'm sure people actualy mining will whine that their already pretty poor profit will get lowered even more, and CCP are finally planning on removing one mineral faucet (drone poop) why would they replace it with another?

Edit: I also like the isk sink part.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.
